Went to a new bike roll out at Deus in Auckland tonight. I think it's the coolest place. Rode in to town at 5.00 on Friday Afternoon and parked outside the old warehouses that are now Deus Shed 5. Made a mess with my kit and kicked back with a Corona and some interesting people out front, They build very nice custom bikes out the back - this is the new one being prepped. Good suspension components and they have made jigs to fit new Triumph twins and old Triumph Twins. They sell clothes and apparel as well as brokering some exotics. I just walk around and drool mostly.

Neat. Lots of interesting tidbits on that first one. Axle adjuster, the chain rub block. Lots of thought and sweat in that one. |

Very Kool! The Trident brings back memories, The Trident has that brake on it that I had on the front of my 69' BSA Chopper. It reminded me of the old Triumph Sprung Hub for some reason . I haven't seen one in years.

Just another reason that I want to head to the other side of the planet to visit 'down under'. I like the flooring too. That Triumph is a work of art! DD - ya got any shots of the Indian that's parked behind the Uly? Looks to be a late '30's chief but can't tell for sure. |

Thanks for sharing Dave. Many of us will never be able to visit the shop, so the photos are very tasty indeed. Please let them know that I'd like them to send me the green one with the knobbies. I've always liked your Ulysses in semi stripped trim too. I originally wanted to emulate your xb12x but I ended up getting a great deal on an STT. Ironically you also helped me decide on the STT with your video review of it. Thanks again. Levi |

Thanks for the Indian pics! I was right - late 30's chief. No trailer queen, there - that thing gets rode! As usual - you post KILLER photos and make us Yanks wanna get on a plane headed south. Al |

It was easier for me - I jumped on a plane and headed east. No visas or any of that stuff. Was planning to stay about 18 months - 11 years ago. The South Island in particular is a place for any rider's bucket list. I'll let them know Levi, cheers too. |

Looking at all that "antique" iron all I can say is those were indeed the good old days. I surprised myself with just how many I immediately recognized. |
