Christmas shopping time, looking for boots for my girlfriend to ride in. Any suggestions? I know there are typical moto-boots I could get her, but I'm thinking of getting her something that's still heavy leather and over the ankle, but a style that she could wear off the bike just as well. Any thoughts? |

Sleez - she saw those and really like them, my only concern is the wedge-style sole. I can see it being helpful as a rider, but she's only a passenger and I'd think the extra leg room afforded by a regular cut out heel would be more comfortable... |

Your thinking like a guy. Comfort extra leg room... does she care about that or how they look? Also the icons have a small cut out where the peg goes. |

My girlfriend LOVES her Cruiserworks "Lady Rider" boots. They don't look out of place off the bike, and they're 100% waterproof. http://www.cruiserworks.com/ladiesboots.php |

Wife has been looking for over 5 years for something fashionable as well as functional/protective and comfortable. Not a thing yet..... Give a shout if you find anything |

Unfortunately, when it comes to women's footwear, "fashionable" and "functional" are OPPOSING ideologies. |

Jake, I too was wondering if he took that photo himself. On second thoughts, if he did, I'm not sure I really want to know. A possible TMI scenario. (Message edited by Mr_grumpy on December 06, 2010) |

I have a female student who has the white Icon boots and she loves them but they get dirty fast. No other problems riding with them. She rides a katana (can-o-tuna) |
