Good job he had all that chrome stuff bolted on to his bike to save it. Mind you he was lucky there was nothing coming the other way.

I like how he points at the photographer. I wonder if that helped put him in the ditch?

Come on! Unless he saved it, there have to be follow up photos! I'm thinking that "bar and shield jacket" didn't save much hide, as well with the half off gloves. Looks like he did at least fifty feet on the grinder and it hadn't stopped yet. That has got to hurt. New ATGATT customer.

Too bad he didn't lean his head and shoulders to the inside until AFTER he fell off the couch. All crossed up in the first pic, ouch.

Looking at the series of pictures above.....it would almost be funny if the bike came to a stop in the last one, just laid over with the rider bailing at a near stop.

I think he is a fan of Babe Ruth. He pointed where he was going to up it. And did.

He doesn't look lucky, I imagine the next photo is impact, followed by a mess of chrome and canadian tuxedos.

What's the story behind both? Riders ok?

The first guy was demoing the new 2012 FLHRR Road Rash King. The dragon was a zoo on the Saturday for BTF4 and this was the reason I stayed in the parking lot and the resort.

The 2nd guy looks like he 'target fixated' on the oncoming rider. Notice he was in full lean and then righted it right at the other bike? That's why the locals are promoting riding near the white line to avoid those people that can't stay in their lanes.

Looks like a whole lot of rider's education not executed. Deal's Gap dump comes in all flavors: Hell, you never know when some tard is gonna take a hard left in front of a Mustang for no apparent good reason.

"I like how he points at the photographer. I wonder if that helped put him in the ditch?" Prolly. Vern, look closer- dude had on his most mackin' black bar and shield T, no jacket. Brain bucket "for novelty use only"... got a future with a stiff plastic brush and Silvodene... Interesting that the 2nd set of humpin hawgs was shown in the SAME corner...(I know that turn, better focus!!!) The 2nd set of guys miraculously managed not to painfully merge...

The Dragon demands respect. Show it none, and it will spit you out dead.

I've ridden the Dragon a few times now, and have found it very timid compared to Arizona's HWY 191. Thankfully, 191 isn't as famous, so I can still ride it without worrying about some squid coming into my lane and taking me out. How does 1000' drop offs, with no guardrails sound to you?

"How does 1000' drop offs, with no guardrails sound to you?" Sign me up!!! Hate to say, I've never been further west than Dallas TX... We've got all of western NC, eastern KY, northern GA- Appalachian highways don't suck too bad. I'd like to compare the west coast states with my home someday- I bet the # of curves and hills per square mile here is moist excellent...
