Sure, there's plenty of Buell specific areas. Just pick your poison. Why are people surprised when they see non-Buell topics in the areas set aside for non-Buell topics.
Did you forget this: "In late 2006, the Bush Justice Department fired (or asked for the resignation of) eight U.S. attorneys all previously appointed by President George W. Bush. Earlier in 2006, a provision included in the reauthorization of the Patriot Act allowed these positions to be filled by the administration without U.S. Senate approval. In early 2007, hearings were held on the matter in both the House and Senate Judiciary committees on the firings. Several of the fired attorneys testified that they had been contacted by members of Congress or executive officials about pending cases shortly before their termination. (They were working on Republican corruption cases) Such contact by members of Congress is a violation of both House and Senate rules."
All the replacement attorneys were graduates of some obscure Christian law school with questionable credentials.
Those attorneys serve at the will of the president and can be replaced at will and without cause.
The Bush administration was just recently cleared of all wrongdoing by the Obama administration justice department.
If the press were not so blatantly in the pocket of the left, it never even would have been reported, since nothing unlawful, unethical, or immoral took place.
I've spent some time looking for anything that will corroborate your claim about Bush replacing all of the fired DOJ attorneys with graduates from the same school. I find plenty of complaining about attorneys being hired from Regent University, but nothing to back your claim. Feel free to support your claim if you can.
It has provided some interesting reading on blogs that I wouldn't normally waste my time on. I found it rather interesting running across multiple blogs with paragraph after paragraph of text railing about Regent. Not just similar paragraphs mind you, identical text! None of them attributed the text to any source other than themselves. Very interesting seeing left wing bloggers plagiarizing some source in an effort to complain about the qualifications of the folks Bush was hiring. Thanks for furthering my insight into the minds of the left. It was well worth my time.
Sifo, my quote came from Wikipedia. I don't frequent left wing political anything. My political beliefs are my own, based on my experience and observation. I don't listen to political talk, except once in a while I listen to Rush, Billo, and Glen Beck. I believe in knowing my enemy. I know I will never change your mind, and you won't change mine. We believe what we believe. The only thing we have in common, (other than belief in the Second Amendment), is a love of motorcycles. Every once in a while I have to throw a little a balance out there. Otherwise, folks might think this forum is populated only by Right Wingnuts. Believe it or not, ultra-Right wing conservative views are not a prerequesite to liking Buells.
The only thing we have in common, (other than belief in the Second Amendment), is a love of motorcycles.
I doubt that's the case, it can just seem that way on the internet. It get's a bit 2 dimensional most of the time. I like burgers and beer! You?
BTW, I didn't mean to attribute anything I read on any blogs to you. It was just in trying to challenge/verify what you said I wound up read a bunch of stuff I don't normally wade into. That's not necessarily a bad thing. If you find the source I would be interested.
Lady Obama certainly had a "let them eat cake" moment with her entourage to Spain last week. That got me thinking.... Her trip was unsound and unwise from a purely political viewpoint. Certainly, Obama and the palace guard privately advised her against the trip and yet, she made the trip anyway. Not only that, she left her man alone on his 49th birthday. Hmmm.....
I get the feeling there is no love between these two Shakespearean tragic characters. I wonder if they will divorce after they finally vacate the White House.
Finally have a candidate for us to consider. Recently elected freshman congressman, retired Lt. Colonel Allen B. West.
Dear Fellow Patriots,
Greetings to all the great West supporters out there....and also to the liberal progressives who are searching for anything to use for my condemnation and marginalizing, good luck! Just have to tell you all that it has been an incredible week, the 112th Congress freshman orientation brought the realization to me the humbling responsibility and honor of serving my Country. All those years in uniform was about serving as a Guardian of the institutions of liberty and democracy, now you all have allowed me to serve you as a citizen-legislator, the true intention of our founders. Sunday evening we had a reception dinner hosted by Speaker-Designate John Boehner in Statuary Hall in the Capitol. After the dinner we were allowed to enter the floor of the US House of Representatives. It was at that time Angela and I came to fully recognize the greatness and exceptionalism of our Constitutional Republic, the United States of America. All those years seeing the "People's House" on TV and now a simple Soldier was standing within the halls where great Statesmen have trod. I pray to live up to the legacy now cast upon us. The days have just flown by since we experienced the thrill of Victory on the 2d of November. Gathering in Washington DC with the historic freshman class of 2010 and the 112th Congress was truly a phenomenal experience. The incoming class will make up 1/3 of the House GOP and we shall be able to make an immediate impact as we restore the Constitutional Conservative principles that have made America the greatest Nation the world shall ever know. The challenges seem daunting but with Divine guidance and providence, just as that which guided our Founding Fathers, we shall prevail. It is imperative that we have an open and honest conversation with our constituents, the American people. Leadership is about choosing the hard right over the easy wrong, and that is my commitment to everyone of you...and yes, even to the liberals who seek my demise. The solutions for our long term fiscal and national security are clearly evident, we can no longer surrender to the business as usual strategies of Washington DC. After the freshmen orientation I spent the weekend with the preeminent conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation. President Ed Fuelner and his staff gave us an incredible two days of intense policy discussion with a panel of superb thinkers and leaders. It was the perfect way to end the week. And on the past Friday we selected your Congressional office, Longworth Building Room 1708, and the Constituent desk awaits all of you...and it has a pretty nice view of the Library of Congress and US Supreme Court. On the Sunday morning before I flew back home, we were invited to appear on NBC's Meet the Press with David Gregory. I had the pleasure to meet Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and was a member of the discussion panel. Florida's Congressional District 22 will be widely known and shall be a prominent leader as we endeavor to rendezvous with a new American destiny. In conclusion, Angela, Aubrey, Austen, and I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. Regardless of all the troubles we face, we still live in a Country unlike any other. We are protected by the new "Greatest Generation", so keep them in your prayers as they stand on the ramparts of Freedom. I am so thankful, as you all gave me the greatest of gifts, your trust and confidence to represent you and be a leader in our Republic.
Steadfast & Loyal, LTC(R) Allen B. West
He's on youtube aplenty. Nice commentary on 2nd ammendment...
No teleprompter.
On illegal immigration...
If he can weather the storm of Washington politics, he'll be a very strong candidate for president.
He is a well know local here He gets it. West will drive the liberals nuts smart effective as conservative as Reagan. Use to being in charge and responsible for his decisions. Gracious friendly at ease with himself. He will go far, Washington is in for a suprise when they try to turn this guy. They may get hurt
>>> I don't listen to political talk, except once in a while I listen to Rush, Billo, and Glen Beck. I believe in knowing my enemy.
Are you characterizing fellow Americans who hold to different political views as your "enemy"? You and President Obama think alike. I could see if they were enemies of the constitution, but I don't see that. I thought the left was supposed to be uber tolerant of all views. As usual, only if in agreement with the left.
I'd appreciate learning what views you imagine constitutes those of a far right wingnut is; what policies and views on the issues does a person need to hold to be a far right wingnut in your view? What views if any would eliminate a person from that group?
I dare you to define that.
I can offer my idea of a far-left whack job, but not until you offer yours of a far-right wingnut.
Good going Fla. We're stuck with Chuck Shumer, Loiuse Slaughter, Charlie Wrangle, etc. since NY is a very very blue state.
( and congrats again to the bright guy at ABC ( I think ) who came up with the color choice. Very smart guy knows that red is the color of danger, blood, and totalitarian rule. Wise move to disassociate the Dems from their Soviet ambitions. )
The Communists believed in separation of church and state, because they could not stand the competition for alliegence, funding, education, or community reliance.
The Russians have always been a very religious people.
You should watch carefully what Washington does in the name of separation of church and state.

I just wonder what our world would be like if the Democrats would treat our real enemies like they go after the Republicans. I shows how they really care about our country when they demonize their politcal opponents and scoff at the real threat from outside.

Iamike Its easy to tell who they serve. Its hidden in plain View all you need to do is add back the missing letter demo--N--crat Explains alot doesnt it!
To everyone that has ever called me a racist for opposing Obama, I answer that I would gladly stand next to West, and support any future political bids he may have.
