Hello Frog Man, I have these two ECM's. I think they are stock XB12 ECMs. Can you tell what year they are? No. 1
No.2

Both Y0152.3A8 and N0306.1AA come back as "ECM - Blank". They're replacement computers for...something. Easy way for the factory to stock ECMs - just keep 'em blank, ship 'em blank, and the dealer / technician flashes them with the right calibration on arrival and installation. BX1US21GB231 looks like a calibration number. Gonna need someone with a digital tech or a calibration list to figure out what it's for... |

Thanks Rat. Not sure where or why I got those. The center electrical spade is for attaching to the servo on the XB12 stock muffler. Not that anyone is still using one of those!

Top is a DDFI2 XB9 ECM, bottom is DDFI2 XB12. Both stock. The old ECMs came pre programmed from the factory, while the new ones get programmed by the dealers Digital Tech. |

That's just a rumor, Champ! I am still very happy with my new Italian sweetheart:-). Actually one Bad Webber already bought the stock 12 ECM. At $50 bucks he just wanted to keep it as a spare. They cost $210 new. |

Jon, Did you get the photo I sent you of Lil Blakie a few weeks ago? Saw the new owner riding it in Oyster Bay. |

Very interesting, Froggy. The box that the XB12 was had $209.95 printed on it. Looked very official. I wonder if this is an example of HD raising the prices of Buell spares? |

$209 sounds like the Race ECM price. My guess is that when the Race ECM was installed on the bike, the stock one went back in the box. |
