Red dot pen point lazer , like the ones from the office supply store, not the ones attached to a gun and sighting, should do some damage to any image they would hope to capture, the bicycle store also has strobing led lights, take off the red lense on that one, again the strobe should mess with the image she hopes to catch and perfectly legal dooby dooby doo |

DON"T shine a laser at a person, bad karma. Save the lasers for the speed cameras. You want a safety argument on that, bring it on. On a different thread. Where you can be mocked by everyone with sense. Not saying it won't work. Just saying it can cause blindness. Sh&t happens. edit. uh... coming off the high horse I remember one of the top laser sight firms, LaserMax, is down the road. Great stuff, nigh indestructable. So...use judgement. The good kind. Class 4, 1 Watt lasers are much more fun. I got to play with one a few days ago. Gotta be careful how long you point it in one direction. Things tend to burst into flames after a few seconds. DAMHIK. Fun stuff.. http://www.wickedlasers.com/lasers/Spyder_III_Pro_ Arctic_Series-96-37.html |

Keep your lasers out of the sky and away from planes unless you like the FBI kicking in your door and introducing your family to the friendly end on an MP-5. Zero tolerance because people with more time than brains thought it was a good idea to lase a few cockpits. Its a minor local code violation most places however if we report a lazing to ATC you just hit a interfering with aircrew under the Patriot Act. This guy got off with 2 years probation. After he made friends with the local cops and the FBI. http://www.justice.gov/usao/nj/press/files/pdffile s/Indbanach.pdf |

Somehow I'm imagining ways to completely make foul the air they breathe- perhaps fan directed funk like rotting fish, dead skunks, etc.- Fun could be had with a few vials of buck lure too... I've gotten curious as to how much they've been studied, in terms of MO and countermeasures... |

Alternate approach. Must be non-confrontational lest they get you on film. Ex-Lax laced brownies and/or hot coffee can have an interesting effect made even more interesting when folks are out in public with no place to "go." Coordinate with local McDonalds and the like to have their facilities shut down for maintenance at the time. (Message edited by Blake on November 30, 2010) |

humm, where do the westboro protesters park? many retail/ service establishments require you to be a customer to park in their lot and most hwys only allow for emergency stopping not parking. Sounds like a good towing company could remove their way home. |

I saw that picture posted before featuring them with a video camera. I was thinking about it for a while before I finally figured out what my subconcious detected as being wrong. That camera is huge. It's like 1994 tech. it's a DECOY. real cameras will be hidden nearby just in case someone tried to go for that camera! don't do ANYTHING to these professional trolls. |

Even though it would cost a pretty penny in fines, the idea of a well orchestrated mass mooning would have a certain flair. Ol' Abbie Hoffman would be proud. Yeah, I know. I shoulda left that last part out. |

Good eye Nate- 150% stealth countermeasures only!! They may be lawyers, but others like me are sci-fi geeks with vivid imaginations... How bout a strong R/C vehicle with payload provisions, a hidden recon point, and a proven escape route/flight path? |

Fairly large r/c blimps are out there. The airspace above the idiots is free. Nice way to display led ridicule and counter messages. If they shoot it down, they're toast, lawyers or not. |

I'm pro LTA. My Dad, who passed recently at 93 worked for Goodyear Aircraft for 42 years. You get your message down low, slow, great hang around time, and the networks will be all over that sucker, not the nitwits. |

Gregory, I LOVE it. A 10-12 foot blimp 15-20 feet over the "protesters" with an LED sign mocking them....even better if you can add a speaker and use bible quotes to highlight the idiocy of what they stand for and are doing. |

I'm broke, can't help. But the folks to contact would be the ones who do the indoor blimps they use at b-ball and hockey games. Don't drop nothin on 'em but the words of the God they so sadly deny. The winners win. What a concept! |

What is the penalty for throwing a piss filled water balloon on the sidewalk?? What is the penalty for throwing a paper bag of dog shit on the sidewalk?? Can't be much. |

Put together a few guys who can really thrash some heavy metal...like death metal. Get a cart with a generator on the back, amps and a fold out drum set... Have a death metal concert right where they protest... with a mash pit. |

If they do this for attention, what would happen if the world ignored them? I know hard to do especially when they disrespect or troops ect. but just a thought. I have more tollerance than most except for a few things. These guys are one of those things... |

Loudness wars don't work. Ignoring doesn't work. Making loud noise to overcome their shouting won't work. Signs protesting them doesn't work either. Aren't they protesting at funerals? I would want it as quiet as possible. (edited to seperate sentence) Finding out where they get permits to protest and occupying that area IS the best (legal) idea so far. If they arrive somewhere else to protest, thats where loudness wars should happen. (just not near funeral) Have these idiots ever protested in the "hood"?
