My sister in law was first in line for the midnight show. She bought her tickets on line as soon as they became available and was giddy with excitement leading up to the release. She is 25. People are crazy about that mystical world. |

It was alright, just have to remember that it is half a movie. I've read the books and the first half of the book they were basically camping. In this case the movie was possibly better than the book. The next part should be pretty awesome. |

Once they started letting all the kids wear normal clothes, it started going downhill. In the books, wizards don't know ANYTHING about muggle fashion (unless of course they had muggle parents). ~SM |

I saw it with my daughter 3:15 am (God what was I thinking) opening night. They did a good job with the translation of the book to the big screen. One more thing, Hermonie (sp?) has become quite the hottie. There were a few scenes where it was "holy crap". |

It's totally weird to watch 'em grow up like that. makes me feel like a dirty old man (at 33!). I remember seeing Michelle Trachtenberg in Harriet the Spy. Now look at her. (2008, actually) ~SM |

He'll have to wait for July & pt2. I'm waiting too. If you read the books, you'll know the first half is less than triumphant...mostly. I've heard some reviews where they complain about the pace & setting. Did they read the book? There should be much more action in pt2. ( not that pt1 was dull. Kept my attention. ) |
