The Buell is on it's way to Iowa with it's new owner. On to a new adventure. Not too sure what it will be yet, but a Buell won't be it. Can't afford a 1190RS I'm sure, and I've owned all the Buells I had interest in already. Blast, XB12S,XB9S,XB12R,XB9R,XB12X,1125R. Looking for something different. Wife still has the 9S. Won't be involved in the 2011 Homecoming, but I'm sure some one will step up and make it even better. Have fun and see ya on the road/track! Better? Nope. Last year rocked. You were the driving force as to why it was as successful as it was. Thank You and good luck. |

Good Luck to You! but..... cant help but ask (sorry for the potential thread jack) I have seen threads like this crop up in then last few months.... Exactly why Erik Buell Racing needs to hurry and release something soon. If The "Buell" faithfull are defecting,What about current shoppers that are not even aware of them. Exactly why Erik Buell Racing needs to hurry and release something soon. Don't think "hurry" is part of the plan. Erik is very particular. I'm sure the bike will be released when the bike is ready. In the meantime, he/they still have some of the best customer service on the planet. He's done it this way once before...and this time he has a real factory and a staff, not just a barn (Message edited by ratbuell on November 21, 2010) |

Like Rocco I have sold both my Buell's. Sold all my crap laying around as well. Shirts, patches, parts, etc. I've been hanging around just sell whats left. Then won't be around here anylonger. I see some of you on Facebook. Its been great but its time to move on like Rocco has said. So I guess its a goodbye from the two of us. (Message edited by bads1 on November 21, 2010) |

Thanks for your work on the 2010 Homecoming,Shelly and I had a great time. Now the question. Why? How can you give up on the coolest motorcycles ever made. I've owned at least 15 bikes and I'm proud to own a Buell! No need to worry about parts. You won't find a better handling bike. You won't find a bike with more style..etc. |

I hate to admit it, but I am thinking the same thing. Maybe sell both Buells for a BMW GS. I still love the Buells, but I am sick and tired of dealing with the MoFo... and still paying them money for parts... never thought I would say it, but it is true... they killed the love... Lurking on ADV Rider, makes me think my view has been too narrow, wanna get off road and travel the world... I am hatching a plot this winter... |

I still have a Buell in the garage. I can guarantee I will ride it again too. I never have regretted owning a Buell. Truth be known, riding the 1125R for long distances was bothering my left shoulder, which I hurt in a race. Had I bought a CR, I probably would still keep it. I have since secured a Husky 450 SMR and will see how that one works out. I will attend future Homecomings, whether on a Buell or whatever else. I have a bad habit when it comes to motorized vehicles. I tend to keep them for about a year or so, then I get an itch for something else. Bothers the crap out of my Wife. She loves her 9S, and won't give it up. I will always love Buells and probably will own others in the future. |

Add me to the list of folks that hope you stick around or at least pop in from time to time. Having been through many Buells and over 20 Homecomings . . . I've seen many come and go. The part that makes most folks so fascinating remains regardless of if they own a Buell or not . . it's a mindset. Happiest of holidays and don't be a stranger. |

For some reason I get the feeling the only Buell owners that will be left in 20 years will be riding tubers. All those XB and 1125 riders seem to be falling by the wayside... As far as selling the stuff off, for the few bucks you get today for it today you will be much better off. Because if you keep it around and find it in your attic in 20 years you will start searching ebay for another Buell and it's going to cost you! I know my M2 is not going anywhere anytime soon (unless I am riding it). Buell and Bedweb for life! |

Sorry to hear that Rocco. Hope you decide to stick around no matter what you are riding. Glad to hear Kari is keeping her's! Koz, I'll be keeping my XB so it won't only be old guy tuber riders here. |

I feel like we should start some sort of pool as to who will be the last Buell owning survivor of Badweb. We could buy some sort of prize (Like a Dealership Buell sign) or something and put our names on the list. The last living owner still able to ride the Buell they started the contest on wins.... Might be fun! |

Keepin' da Buell is cool. Ditchin friends on BadWeB would be lame. Good to know you'll still be hanging around Rocco. Thanks for the great job on the homecoming this year. Still sick that I was unable to attend. Dana, You seem to be on some kind of anti-Buell purge. What's up with that? Stick around and continue to enjoy the good friends you made here, me included. And make sure Andrea stops by now and then to say "hello" too. Fail that and you'll be in serious jeopardy for harsh retribution. |

I agree with Blake Dana! You two better stay in touch. Probably be some venison headed your way. I'll give you a call in a couple weeks or so to arrange it. |
