I watch very little TV......but get a few daily doses of youtube/Wimp and the like. The recent trend seems to be ADVERTISEMENTS before the chosen video! 15 to 30 seconds seems to be the norm. Not long enuf to take a wizz or stoke the wood burner.Just have to sit thru it.............Crap I hate that waste of time. There is nothing I can do   | ||

This same thing came up today on another site I read. The worst are movie trailers. THE TRAILER ITSELF IS A COMMERCIAL! Why do I have to sit through another one before it????? | ||

I knew it was only a matter of time before this started. YouTube has been doing it for a while now, I used to be able to just hit "refresh" or CTRL+F5 and reload/refresh the page and rid myself of the commercial... not anymore. | ||

City, I have the same policy for pop-up ads. Anything I see in a pop-up, I boycott. Luckily for most companies, my Firefox/NoScript combo have been virtually impenetrable by the blasted things, so no one's currently on my shit list. ~SM | ||

Adblock Plus plugin for Firefox works wonders. I didn't even know there were advertisements on Youtube until I was looking at someone else's computer. | ||

On new years last year I took the TV out into a field and pumped it full of bird shot. It was our own rendition of the office space copier scene. |
