I heard on the radio that it got stalled in the first hour. Something about not having legal representation. I say let the fool represent himself. Get on with getting rid of the jackwagon. |

I saw it on WBALTV they had taped his proceedings on him requesting a delay to hire another attorney. And according to the news station this issue has been going on for 2 years now. The delay was denied proceeding went on without him. Meanwhile back in Prince Georges County Maryland we have another Black Democrat (county councilman) who got money from huge developers. The cops knocked on his door and arrested him, meanwhile his wife had stuffed 79,600 in her panties and was trying to flush a 100,000 dollar check down the toilet! Both of them are in jail now. Today on the same news station same county in Md 3 PG county police officers are arrested for transporting untaxed ciggarettes, drugs, and fire arms through Maryland and 2 other states! CRAZY! |

Barbired, you forgot about the ones arrested for distributing cocaine. Nine people have been arrested, including three police officers, on corruption charges in Prince George's County. The accused face counts of conspiracy to commit extortion and conspiracy to distribute cocaine, U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein announced. |

He'll get off on a lighter charge/conviction. Waste of time and money. Think Blago |

They will work to try and convict him quickly lest his trial and censure be handled in the new session. |

That was quick! http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/11/16/br eaking-ethics-committee-finds-rangel-guilty/ Now they can slap his wrist and move on before handing the house over to the Republicans. Does anyone actually believe they will "drain the swamp"? Place your bets! |

Fatty, those were my thoughts exactly.... When he asked for a continuation (due to lack of legal counsel) at the start of the session yesterday I was really really hoping they would give it to him. I wanted the next House to handle it, not this one. |
