Amen, god bless you all...if it wasnt for you brave men and women NONE of the things we take for granted everyday would be possible, so with all my heart i say THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SERVCE!!
For you loud ugly windjammers outta Whidbey For the haze grey and away aux crews For breach and board rag tag out of Heartbreak Hole For the Devil Dogs that got me through Bosnia and Kosovo For the cathartic 9 weeks at Quantico For the 3 years in undisclosed non descript bunkers that never existed listening For the 4 years in undisclosed non descript bunkers that never exisited going full court press.
Thanks US Navy Reserve, DOD, USMC, US Navy Auxilary Reserve, and the Washington State National Guard. Good times.
To those of you still out there. Shoot back when you can, cover and conceal when you cant; come back safe, we will need you again.
To those that did the do, a greatful nation owes you her History. A great nation counts on our experience for the future. Happy Veteran's Day. Remember that our WWII vets are slipping by us day by day; largely unheard, take some time, hear their stories, thank them before it is too late.
My bro'inlaw sent this story to me, knowing that I served in Korea '71/'72. I wonder to things about it, one was he being sincere, and second did he throw up in his mouth after it?
I just got a call two days ago... seems another couple of my fellow paratroopers from my old unit will not be coming home. Thank you for supporting us, and thank you to all who have served.
Most of all, for those that won't come home, I could never say thank you enough for what you have done. May that C-130 fly you high! All the way!
Thank You to all the Veterans! Also a very special thank you to my grandfather who served from 42-45 in the south pacific off the Philippines and escorting convoys. Semper Paratus Grandpa and I wish I could have met you!
