Just received a call from 305-434-7222, which showed up as originating from "Florida, USA". Caller speaking with heavy accent, sounded Jamaican, asked if this was "BadWeatherBikers.com". I said yes, what can I do for you? The caller asked "do you accept American Express?" I replied, "why do you want to know"? Caller stated they might want to purchase one of our products. I asked "what are you interested in purchasing." Answer was that she was calling for her husband and he might want to purchase one of our products. I told caller she was a liar, a scammer and a thief, and that I was going to report her number to the authorities. She hung up. As you know, BadWeatherBikers.com, the "business" that she sought to contact, offers no products for sale other than advertising/sponsorship. Confirmed other reports of same at... http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-305-434-7222#p147467629325740731 and also at... http://mrnumber.com/1-305-434-7222 (Message edited by blake on November 03, 2010) |

Tell her that you have used toilet paper, or used bags of trash, for cash only. |

Strange... maybe he/she/it/they thinks that badweb sells products because of the advertisements. Sounds like a phising attempt to me though. |

I have no sense of humor whatsoever concerning thieves. If I could somehow send 50,000 volts through the phone shooting into their ear, I would. |

Certainly sounds like a "crime thing" to me. My question is of course what is the angle? She want to buy a product with a credit card? Then you have her credit info. How is that going to put money in her pockets? Also, "Florida, USA" ha ha ha! |

Then you have her credit info. Well, you have someone's credit info at least. |

>>> How is that going to put money in her pockets? They find out if you take AmEx, then who knows what next bit of info they would seek and some naive business owner might provide. So then they have your phone number and who knows what else information. They then proceed to perpetrate fraud against you, how I don't know. It obviously involves AmEx. The lies prove the intent. They are up to no good. |

Damn, are you sold out, already ? I was getting ready to 'pull the trigger' on some of your fine product, myself. I'll call back, when you get more. |

Probably has stolen credit card information and is looking to either validate the card as functional before going for the big kill, or simply to find something somebody will take. Or it was the precursor to some other scam where they were going to play you for something else later... |

"You have been selected to receive a $100 gas card, all you have to do is pay shipping" I wasted over 30 minutes of that guys time, then he transferred my call to his supervisor who threatened to send the police to my house. Bring it on.... |

We get similar EMAILS all the time. When someone emails that they are interested in "some of our products" but doesn't mention what, or what bike they have, etc., I just delete it. Haven't gotten the phone version of it though. Just emails. |
