I dig it, but the dimensions make it look seriously top heavy.... like one of those cave crickets. |

I think it looks cool. If I had deep pockets and could have all of the motorcycles I want I would get it but it would not be one I would get over the rest of the bikes I want like their hypermotard. |

Are we going to ever see another standard Motorcycle or anything but racing from now on? I love that this is all new and developing from scratch. It's an exciting time to be a Erik Buell Racing fan. I realize that he bases everything on his racing experience, but his standards and other (ADV) bikes are awesome. Not all of us can ride a bike with clip ons and rear set pegs. Can we ever expect to see an 1190 based lightning or similar configuration? One of you guys that goes to the swap meet on saturdays with Erick should ask him for me. |

Agreed Levi. I have no interest in the 1190RS as a street bike, but it's production provides the ability to produce more bikes. You gotta race to sell. |

The new Ducati fits the mold of the VROD, VMAX, and the Victory Hammer. It will handle better though. I like it. REX |

I was leaning towards the V-Star Warrior, but now I think I'll wait. The Duc looks amazing! |

The new Ducati fits the mold of the VROD, VMAX, and the Victory Hammer. It will handle better though. I like it. Ducati are quoting 463 lbs dry, which (if reasonably accurate) would make it lighter than all of those? Claimed 162hp isn't too shabby either I kinda like it, though I kinda liked the V-Rod until I sat on one. A Duc Streetfighter would be higher on my "just won lotto wish list". Maybe the Diavel is the bike for when I get older and want to slow down? And who said side mounted radiators (and pods!) would never catch on...

"Are we going to ever see another standard Motorcycle or anything but racing from now on?" Oh man, come on... we live in an age of incredible range of choice of motorcycles right now - cruisers, nakeds, retros, streetfighters, motards, adventure bikes, touring orientated adventure bikes, dual sports, baggers, tourers, sport tourers, supersports, hypersports, power cruisers, custom cruisers, cafe racers... you can get singles, parallel twins, v-twins, triples, inline fours, v-fours, and flat-sixes... and british, german, italian, austrian, japanese, american... Compared to the range available 12 or 13 years ago, it's astounding. There are some very good "standards" around at the moment, eg: ER-6n (Ninja 650 in US?), Street Triple and Speed Triple, CB1000R, Z750, R1200R, F800R (one of my favs), Shiver, Mana 850, FZ1, FZ6, FZ8, Hornet, Gladius... |

I don't think the Diavel is a show down bike. With a 160 hp, that is pretty impressive. |

When I get to an age where I want to slow down, I don't want to slow down too much |

ugly and confused... Sportbike = NO, to fat Cruiser = NO, no bags or back seat Hyabusa Challenger = NO, doesn't have the power Only thing I can figure is that it is an expensive bar hopper like the HD Rocker. |

Cruiser = NO, no bags or back seat How else can do expect to sell the 3K hard bags and passenger seat accessory?} |

I like it, but with that footpeg location there's no way I call it a cruiser.....I'm not sure where to pigeon hole it. Koz; barhopper is probably the best description anyone will come up with. |

Cruiser = NO, no bags or back seat Look closely at the pic above. Just below the bottom of the seat you see a black metal piece that has ridges on the end of it. This is the fold down rear peg for a passenger. Go the the Ducati website and look at the info/videos there. No mention of bags....yet.} |

The thing I love about my bike is it doesn't fit in those catagories. |

any bike that is named Devil with that much power must be a widow maker. Though I do like the chain over the shaft of the VMAX. probably a nice scoot, not for my garage, but probably a nice putt. |
