Anybody else digging this bike? http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/kawasaki/20 11-kawasaki-ninja-1000-first-ride-90086.html It's basically a sportbike with a comfortable riding position, loads of torque, and available hardcases. I was considering a Concours 14 for my next bike, but I am really liking this. |

C14 is too heavy. I want to see this Ninja with the hard cases on it... |

IMO, this is what the VFR1200 should have been. The Kaw weighs 90 lbs less and costs $5k less...even without the dual clutch gizmo. |

I like it. Only if it were a parallel twin like the 650 Ninja...........then I'd REALLY like it. |

Love the bike... hate the pipes... I guess that stands to reason for most any bike. It's a 2010 Z1000 with fairings and bags. |

It's a 2010 Z1000 with fairings and bags. Essentially, yes, but there are more differences. The bar position is a bit different, final gearing is taller, seat is higher, 1 gal more fuel capacity, etc. |

Love the bike... hate the pipes... Agreed. The stock cat & exhaust looks heavy. http://www.motorcycle.com/gallery/gallery.php?g2_v iew=largephotos.Largephotos&g2_itemId=262621 I wonder how much weight can be trimmed with aftermarket cans.

Will the bags and top box fit the naked 1000? It's always fun to be bagged naked. |

I think it's a sexy new motorcycle. When it's heading right at you however, it looks like a Honda Silverwing scooter. Same fairing shape (that it has now) with a vertical stack of two round lights would be sumptuous. Your mileage may vary. |
