All joking aside... does anyone actually KNOW the best way to preserve this? I have not worn it since that day, it is 100% cotton and there is a small coffee stain on the front at the bottom.
I actually kindof like all the huffing and puffing that the far right is doing about the election, because it just motivates every single person like me to get out and VOTE November 2nd! |

Charlotte, I'm pretty sure that if I had posted something similar espousing false progressive beliefs, I'd have received a nasty gram from you claiming how much of an ass hole I am. Double standards are a bitch, aren't they. |

Whatever, dude. All is fair in love and war. Seriously, can anyone answer my question about the t-shirt? I am thinking of getting it framed, but I do not want to affect the ink on it. I think he used a fat black sharpie. He signed it on my back, as he politely refused to sign it on my upper chest on the front. (Message edited by Whatever on October 31, 2010) |

Jwblue, I offered to debate any issue mentioned in the video. I see FB comment as a similar offer. Rather than scoff at it, why don't you offer your pearls of insight on some real issue. Or you can simply make personal attacks that have zero substance. |

>>>> I really, really, really, really, really hope that Palin is the next Republican presidential candidate. No chance. I kind of agree with Dave too. He and I see the political world differently but we can discuss it without needing weapons or nasty words. He's a smart guy and I enjoy listening to his point of view. He'll listen to mine as well. At one time I though I almost has him "cured" . . . . . Hahahahaha . . must keep trying.

"Whatever, dude. All is fair in love and war." One of the most ignorant but oft repeated lines ever uttered. So you are in favor of racial cleansing, torture, collateral damage involving innocents and all the other atrocities perpetrated during wars? Obviously your liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds. G |

Getting ugly guys. Court is on the money. Standing up for what you believe is great, and necessary. Pounding your views over the other persons head, (When those views are not going to change.), is a way to lose friends. I am seeing this on forums, and on the street. One of my very best friends is far, far left. When it starts to get hot, we stop. She is not going to change her views, I'm not going to change mine. Our friendship is much more important than hammering our points across. I hope friendships aren't lost because of this political season. Then again, I guess if your not friends to begin with, it's open season... |

Char, Fortunately, there is no way to preserve your Obama t-shirt. It is fading quickly. C'mon everyone, keep it civil. Eventually, Liberals legs will cease tingling and hopefully that isn't because of the onset of diabetes. Even Brother Gess was showing signs of being Born Again Hard according to Court. There is hope. |

Can some of the older folks here tell me has this crap ways been this bad? Or has it gotten worse with the advance of the internet and 24hr political news networks? I'm only 29 so I've only really been through three administrations; Clinton,Bush,Obama. Before that I was just a kid and could care less. but I remember that during clinton it was eight years of conservatives criticizing every move and screaming for impeachment. Then with Bush it was the same thing just then it was liberals screaming. Now its swung back the other way but it seams like every year it gets worse. Seriously things are so damned partisan that I can't vote. If there's ever a candidate moderate enough to appeal to me he doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell. Being in alabama doesn't really help things. you could be a criminally insane raving lunatic and if you're on the republican ticket you'll win. |

Whatever, you can act like a witty elitist liberal but some of us still remember you saying obama fully supported our constitution. As far as this election goes I don't see candidates bragging about obamas record. Some even taking big chances to distance themselves from zero. |

I was just curious about the leanings of AL so I looked at the party of recent governors. Until fairly recently when it's swapped back and forth it looks like the Dems had a lock on things down there. Democratic governors from 1874 through 1987. Only 3 Republicans in the past 135+ years. No offense intended, but it makes me wonder about your view of moderate. As to your first question, this is the worst I've ever seen. I've asked my mom what she thought and she says the same. For the record, Clinton caused his own troubles by lying under oath, and obstructing justice. If Bush had done ANYTHING impeachable, it would have been done. BO is a far left radical that has lost much of the support from his own party in only 2 years. This is his own making. Notice though that with the exception of the oddball lone voice there's been virtually no talk of impeaching him yet. Despite the claims of racism, etc. by his supporters the criticisms have been on his policies. |

Hmmm well you've informed me. I'm a recent al resident. when it comes to the presidential race the ms and al, the only states where I've been able to vote for pres, are not swing states. So it really doesn't motivate me to get involved. |

So you are in favor of racial cleansing, torture, collateral damage involving innocents and all the other atrocities perpetrated during wars? WOW! Let's take one smartass cliche' that took about 1/2 a second to type, before I walked away from the computer to participate in REAL LIFE and jump to a bunch of conclusions over it... that is really mature... Excuse me for having a life outside of virtually reality... If you had paid any attention to any of my posts in the past on any semi-political topic, including how I feel about veterans, you would realize the hypocrite is you... I have consistently been out of favor of the status quo on this board... Go on, do a search, you could start with the don't ask don't tell thread... |

Sifo, Exactly, I'm not compelled to vote since statistically the outcome is all but a sure thing. I will admit that I don't really take the time to follow politics. Everything that i hear, see or read is so damn negative that I don't care to dredge through it all to find out which politicians are worth voting for. |

I think the t-shirt will be fine as long as you don't wash it too much. Here's some tips from the sharpie blog. http://blog.sharpie.com/2008/12/heather-and-lola-t he-sharpie-answer-girls/ |

So you are in favor of racial cleansing, torture, collateral damage involving innocents and all the other atrocities perpetrated during wars? I'm not aware of any war where those things didn't occur. War should be the last thing a nation does but if it has no alternative but to go to war it ought to do everything necessary to secure victory as quickly as possible. |

Not_purple_s2, Using my very crude gauge of politics in AL of the Governors races, at least in recent elections it has gone back and forth. Perhaps you shouldn't give up your right to vote so easily. I have to agree that too often it seems like picking the better of two evils, but that's better than letting someone else pick the worse of two evils. Unfortunately there's no substitute for spending time paying attention to the folks you have to choose from. Go on, do a search, you could start with the don't ask don't tell thread... Ahhh yes, another thread where you threw bombs and walked away. |

"So you are in favor of racial cleansing, torture, collateral damage involving innocents and all the other atrocities perpetrated during wars? " Its fun to be flippant about it. But I am betting you have never seen bodies piled on bodies because somebody's decision on somebody else's idea of society, education, religion, culture, neighborhood or wealth. It may seem like the autrocities of WWII were forever ago, but investigating and translating for the atrocities of Bosnia, Kosovo, Herzegovenia and (if they keep it up) Ossetia. It is no light off hand comment to drop. You never forget the stench, you never trust anyone again. |
