That tea partier bear is a moron. It sure doesn't represent my take on the issues.
I oppose looters and moochers and legislation that empowers them.
There are three issues which define the character of the two major political parties in America, abortion, unionionization/"card-check", and warfighting.
One party supports the unfettered mass-murder of unborn American babies.
One party opposes privacy in voting for or against the unionization of a workforce; they want union thugs to be able to see your vote.
One party after boldly supporting the authorization of warring hostilities, turns miserable defeatist and proclaims "this war is lost."
1. Defend the innocent and helpless. FAIL.
2. Protect the integrity and honesty of voting. FAIL.
3. Fight war to win, never invite defeat. FAIL. |

Like the Tea Party or not, you must respect what they did last night in turning the tide. There hasn't been a landslide victory and out right repudiation of socialist policies like this since the 30's or 40's.
The House has been elected to be the house of "no". No to higher taxes. No to increased government spending. No to Constitutional erosion. No to Obamacare. No to cap and trade.
If the new House does nothing but vote down new spending initiatives, their mission will be accomplished. |

Sad state of affairs, but still kinda made me chuckle.
I can only imagine that Americans were doing something along those same lines (adjusted for generational differences) to the leaders of the world power countries a century and a half ago. |

If the tea party are racist astroturf and America sided with them last night by and large~ does that now mean that over half the country is racist lapdogs for republicans and tea party members? Were there kkk and nazi sleeper cells all throughout the country voting in droves? |

I disagree. They need to defund obamacare and get rid of the authoritarians at the EPA who have mandated that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. |

Look at southern california and the midwest. Not exactly empty land. Heck, even NO went repub. 'Course, all the criminals moved to Houston after the storm which explains the blue dot in SE Texas. |

Defund Obamacare, EPA and the Department of Education...it would be a good start. I don't believe they have the cajones to do it, but I'd be a big fan of just such a measure.

AS Court stated the Check Book is closed
spending bills start in the house. Watching Demo trying to spin this saying into ( the Rep's will have to compromise with me ) Me being Obama. This is just the beginning draining the swamp. gators are ok we just want the snakes and mosquitos gone. |
