Pretty impressive image quality.

I'd just been to the Accountant's to drop off a tax cheque and then to the Dentist. No way I was going straight back to the office

That's a great price for an HD camera with a housing that's good to 180 feet. I am very interested. Under $300 for underwater video is almost free.

It's nice, but not without faults.
I've had mine shut off without warning completely missing races, or just getting partials, also had issues with corrupt video that happened about halfway through a race which made all the footage worthless.
Also, the mount is a little loose, but that's easily fixable with a piece of masking tape.

I'd still buy it though, the vids that I have are worth far more to me than the price of the camera.

Looks great, but I can't stand the motion of a helmet mount.

What do they have available to protect the lens from getting trashed? Can a cheap filter lens be attached or anything like that? I know how quickly I go through face shields, I would hate to do that to a $300 camera.

Sifo -

The camera is put into a plastic case that has the mounting stuff on it. So the actuall lens is never in the elements. And the "lens" portion of the plastic case is replaceable so you don't have to get an entire new case.

Pretty darn strong case too.
After my crash the case is toast, but the cam is mostly ok.

I agree about helmet mounting, I mounted on my dash:

In that case I'm very impressed!

Lens are around $20 to replace. Case about $40 - from memory.

Agree - hard mount is better than helmet - but I'm still faffing around with it.

also as stated elsewhere - the wind noise reduction software has some provisos.

Agree that you need a good roll of gaffer tape to optimise mounting and bracket performance - especially on our paint shakers.

Fabricated a wind curtain on the open option rear door to some (minor) benefit too.

I've got a simple L bracket zip tied to my left fork leg between the triple trees(bicycle inner tube used to protect the purty finish on the fork leg). It work very well and is quite isolated from the vibes of the twin. I get just a bit of the turn signal shaking at the bottom of the frame and just a bit of the fly screen at the right of the frame. Looks pretty cool.
