What a dummy! Reminds me of a guy at NIU that said running 20 miles is all in your head. We figured a route and sent him on his way. 12 miles later, a cop found him laying in a ditch, and had to bring him home. He ate 8 bowls of cereal, and slept for 16 hours. The determination some people have. What did that poem say? Oh yeah, the wisdom to know the difference!
Nice house. Makes you wonder how anyone that stupid could land himself a job that pays that well. I suppose it could be his brother in law's house. Bet he's pretty disappointed with his sister.
The sad part is that that piece of plywood could easily have been broken, even by his head, if he did it right.
First, no martial artist with a clue tries to break plywood. it's not "a board" it's a composite of wood layers and glue. Plywood is designed not to break. But.
second, he could easily break such a light plywood panel, if he DIDN"T DUCK every time he brought the board down. That took away the energy needed to break the plywood, and kept it just at the level where you slowly beat yourself into a coma. damhik.
Wearing a hat with a button on it has been regretted by many people, no matter if the impact causing the regret was accident or foolishness. I've done both.
Now, he's going to get yelled at by his mom for splattering the floor with blood, and being more of an idiot than usual.
Not enough faith in self, poor action plan, no follow through. That's how you keep the possible impossible. His advice is actually not bad, he just didn't take it.
Getting angry at your own failure and repeating, worse and with less control....that's how I get hurt, how about you?
I totally believe in mind over matter. Some of the stuff the martial artist monks do is pretty amazing. However, I doubt that some dude in a polo and trucker hat that can't memorize a few simple lines has the required mental focus to achieve similar feats.
