What is the um, er... "69" type connector called that hooks a battery tender up to the leads that go to the battery? I wanted to make up some other stuff to connect up to that lead that hangs there, not in use when riding, and I have no idea what to search for, since I don't know the type/name of that connector system. Should really be called a 69 connector, IMHO. |

Or more simply a 2-pin quick disconnect plug. 69 connector IS a better name. Better than the "morphodite plug" I would have come up with (yeah, I know, it's really hermaphrodite) |

Yes, Tom, I know. But I don't want to buy a whole plug and cable assembly unless I have to - just the "SAE quick connect 2.5 mm DC socket" connector part. |

We use them at work all the time. I think we get them from Carquest or NAPA. |

You also might try a local MC shop. My local shop stocks those and other types of connectors. |

You guys are fortunate to have "local motorcycle shops." I have tractor dealerships. Thanks for the info - I'll find 'em! |

I've seen them at all the local car parts stores. Often in the trailer accessory depatrments. Usually $2 gets you the two connectors with about 6" or wire pigtales. Googling 2-wire connector gets you tons of them. |

Ah, trailer accessories! Silly me for looking in the electrical area in the car parts store and wally's. |
