The rear lights to me are straight from the Enzo design. I like Ferraris, but more than them Maseratis, more than Ms is the new ZR1, and more than that the Bertone Mantide, which is a ZR1 coach car (check it out).

Phelan, That is a wicked ride, but I'm waiting for it to stand up, sprout arms and produce a surface to air missile launcher! |

From last weekend at Angelina's . . . it's turning into the thing to do . . the neighborhood car show. I drive a car that cost about the same as my motorcycle but there are 3 Ferrari's in the neighborhood. Coolest is one that I've only seen once and it's a root beer metallic with a saddle tan interior . . quite cool. Fun to look at . . . but I wouldn't own one even if I won the lottery. . . I'd go for a '57 Chevy. All photos by Pete M. |

The Ferraris are dead sexy and built to haul the mail, but......... Give me a Ford GT and I'd think I'd died and made it into heaven! Make it the Gulf Oil powder blue & cream orange and forget about it! Gotta love Detroit! |

WOW! That fastback 'Stang oozes sexy sheet metal! I'm amazed how the rims/tires tuck up into the fenders - VERY nice! The stance is perfect and a great color combo. Big flashy chrome rims is gettin' old, I like the argent gray rim combo. But.......as much as I love that fastback, the red Fairlane would get my vote as the coolest car in this thread! That Fairlane is cool, clean, low, simple, and tastefully done! Purely beautiful Detroit sheet metal! Thanks for posting - going to have to check out their website! |

Boy there are some dead sexy cars on this thread. My favorite prancing horse has always been a Testarosa but only if money was no object. As far as domestic metal goes, I've always liked the stuff put out by Troy Trepanier of Rad Rides by Troy. He did a nice fast back Mustang and a Barracuda for Joe Rogan I really liked. I'll have to find some pics to put up. |

Going to go a totally different direction... My dream car is an old school Karmann Ghia, convertible, body only- dropped on top of a hotted-up 911 chassis with a sleeper motor. Going to the store to get my lottery ticket... |

I'll take the Bertone Mantide, take the motor out and keep it somewhere on the side for another project, and have Ligenfelter build a 1000hp TT 427 (7.0L) to put in it . |

Riden, Very nice ride. The F-22 stealth fighter instantly popped into my head as soon as I saw it. Bo sox, The Fairlane that you preferred, was built for Ken Smith of S&S Performance. When I talked to Mike Ring last June, he showed me the car in progress and told me the price tag, a small fortune. Reactor went across the auction block on Barrett-Jackson, in Scottsdale this spring for $230,000 + comm. It was also Goodguys Street Machine of the year for '07 which they also won the year after with Razor. Both Razor and Afterburner were on Powerblock on Spike TV and all three were at SEMA in seperate years. So, needless to say they're making quite a name for themselves and they carry a nice line of parts. |
