Very cool! The Nijmegen Bridge in the background in one of the photos looks like the one that Robert Redford and Cliff Claven stormed in "A Bridge Too Far". We could have Blasted the Wehrmacht all the way past Arnhem in WWII if we only had Buells back then. |

Reindog: Nah! Montgomery would have found a way to spoil it all for the allies! |

Cliff Claven - Postman on Cheers Cliff Robertson - Devil's Brigade, A Bridge too Far. Rein - No, Monty would have spoiled it, then proclaimed that it had always been his plan to muck it up. So - Brother in Buells - Good time had by all? |

Stirz, It is Cliff Claven (John Ratzenberger) and Robert Redford who ford the river to attack the Nijmegen Bridge. My source is my faulty memory and IMDB. I laughed my butt off when I recognized Clifford while watching the movie. Redford and Claven riding military Buells would have been great. |

Rein - There are two thing that happen as you get older - your memory gets worse, and something else (I forgot what, though). I'll have to watch it again next time it's on. (was Cliff Robertson even in it?) That's what I get for talking out my ass. Thanks for straightening me out. JM |

Nijmegen. That word brings back some memories. I did the military routes of the Vierdaagse of Nijmegen back in 99 and 2000 while stationed in Germany. Drank ALOT of beer and made alot of friends. Great memories. I did not know Buell had such a presence there though. Good deal. |

Nijmegen. That word brings back some memories. Me too I did the Nijmegen and Arnhem military marches back in 78/79 and was stationed just a few miles across the border at RAF Laarbruch, so did much of our 'socialising' in and around Nijmegen and Venlo Happy days.......... |
