Iman, I have a G4, and I will say the reception is not great at all, about 20 miles tops with a clear shot to a strong station. Cardo has a computer interface application for the G4; don't know if your Q2 is capable of that, but you can set stations on the computer that way and transfer to the headset, along with firmware updates, etc. |

You have to hold the main button down till it beeps (letting you know the radio is on), then briefly hold down one of the volume buttons either way you want to change the channel.( up or down) then if it is a station you want to store you have to press the center button within 10 or 20 seconds. programing preset stations is the biggest PITA with that system. I sat in my living room with my helmet on for about an hour trying to figure it out. that was the best i could come up with you should be able to get atleast some gospal channel outside almost anywhere. oh yea... make sure you change the preset channel after you store one you want, or you will just keep overwriting the channel you stored on that preset channel. |

Turn on the helmet with the soft button. Turn on the psuedo-radio tuner by holding the hard button on the side for about 5 seconds - you'll hear a beep. Push and hold either the volume up or volume down button until your finger is screaming in pain - about 5 seconds. If you only hear static, repeat. If you are at the top or bottom of the scale I don't believe the tuner rolls over. You'll have to choose to go in the opposite direction. Once you find a station make sure you save it by pushing the hard button. Once you save a station make sure you push the hard button to move to another static spot before searching for another station with the volume buttons. |

Ok it can be done .. I have tried a few time out of desperation , but when you actually find a station that comes in good , it is something your parents would like |
