Couple of grunts were giving me grief. The CO was right behind them. He told them off and next day they were sweeping the parking lot with a hand brush. Next time I saw the CO I thanked him for sticking up for me. He said, "I don't like long hair either, but I didn't fight two wars for nothing." I'll stand for his sake, and others like him, not because somebody tries to make me feel guilty.
