I was going to church last night. Wife was driving the cage with me riding shotgun. We pulled up to a red light and I could see an hd with a pillion making a right turn across the intersection on the right. He moved forward a couple of feet and stopped. The cage behind them accelerated from about 10 feet behind them and center punched them in the rear. I couldn't believe it at first. The car stopped and the bike was knocked forward and onto it's right side. We got a green light and made our way over to the side of the rode just past them. Both riders insisted on getting up and the male rider/operator took about 2 minutes to get to his feet. I stood beside him asking if his balance was OK. They both had on leathers and full face helmets. I think the bike got his right ankle but am not sure. I talked to him a little, trying to get them both up on the curb, while making sure someone had called 911. They appeared to be in their late 50s or early 60s. Poor guy was moving real stiff. A few bikers stopped and lifted his hog back up. I just got done talking to the policeman that investigated it. He spoke like it was pretty cut and dry. |

So the bike started to go, then stopped? That is a recipe to get rear-ended, and I've seen it more than once (I even had a close call once, now I pay full attention to the vehicle ahead of me). |

That really sucks One of the reasons I got and XB light from Rob I hope all involved are ok, ankle under a hog can do a lot of damage. |
