I will be making my first HHR this weekend. I am looking forward to meeting alot of you guys. I am so close, but have always had plans the couple years. And I agree XL, I like Glitch's weather forecast, though everywhere I look is showing 30% for Sunday. |

I did a pre-run for sunday's ride. The scenery is more spectacular than I've seen in a looong time. The roads are in great shape and the local farmers market will be frying a batch of apple cider donuts for HHR6 breakfast on the mountain. PM me if anybody wants the GPS file. |

My plans always seem to get squashed for some reason or another. My original plan was to drive out this evening. However I'm Still at home fulfilling family obligations etc..I Don't think I can make the 9AM show for tomorrow morning but plan to drive out early to late afternoon. Mike- That is of coarse if your still offering a place to throw up a tent and park A pickup. IF not I will be driving out early Sun Morn. Yep haulin the bike, I'm assuming the Sun ride is 100ish miles. A 600 mile round trip jaunt only on the bike, is a bit overwhelming for one day in cold temps and possible rain. |

The Sunday ride is 170 miles. Nobody will fault you if you truck it out. We're just glad you can make it. |

The weather is going to be spectacular and I've been on the area roads daily . . . I think this, and perhaps next, weekend will be the prime fall color weekends. Roads are not yet covered with leaves and it's going to be gorgeous tomorrow. If you pass a Blue Uly wave! Have fun and ride safe . . |

Looks like an Aerostich convention. (just kidding of course) Great pictures Mike. That looks like a really great area to ride. I am amazed at the lack of traffic. I kind of miss seeing Tramp's S2T among all the shinny newer bikes. I hope Tramp is ok, I know he was one of the forces behind the ride. I sure wish I could have joined you all. I would say that scenery rivals anything we have in Colorado. Frank |

That photo with the train . . . WOW . . color that one my big favorite! What a great time. Mike and I run a darn similar pace and have a habit of stopping with little/no warning and wandering about. Each time I set out to lead us to a new location . . I get lost . . take a side road and we find yet another spectacular location. When we found this one . . . we should have known that Hammer would be bringing the troops by. We were shooting bikes and scenery when the distinctive sound of Buells could be heard on the aural horizon. We were ready and waiting for them. Perfect weekend for riding and nothing but great folks! |
