Everybody say good bye to Lil' Blackie! After six years, fifty plus mods, and 16,478 miles it was time for our beloved and spoiled little blackie to find a new home. Her new owner, Lee, is a Long Island mechanic who also owns a Harley cruiser. As Danny Kaplan observed, I was in rather deep to ever sell her, but I am going to be seventy in a couple of weeks, and it's time to lighten up on toys that aren't being used. I am now down to one bike, a Ducati 999S, which I just love, and ride every week. I just want to thank all the Bad Webbers who I have met, or corresponded with for all their help and enthusiasm, and I plan to still hang around.

Jon, I did the same thing just about one year after buying my new bike. I needed to downsize somewhat also and just wasn't riding my own "'lil blackie" very much after the great experience on the new bike. A 2008 1125R. I believe we are both still on absolutely great bikes. See mine in my profile. My old bike was a nice full faired 2002 M2, pictured below. Best thing is we're both still riding great sportbikes and not just cruising. Bob

Wouldn't you just know it! The first weekend I am down to only one motorcycle and the one I got won't start! Maybe the Ducati was lonesome without Lil' Blackie, or maybe it was a bad battery, or some other damn thing. Never ends, does it? |

It's hurts to say goodbye to a loyal friend. A friend you spent time with. |

That is one beautiful bike you just sold. I hope you get your Ducati running without trouble. |

I just found a zipped folder on my webserver... took a little trip down memory lane. Pics of my XB12R, so shiny, all the polished bits gleaming in the sun. If only I had moved out of California sooner, I wouldn't have owed so much property tax, and I'd probably still have her. |

Wish I could say that I miss Last Laugh but I really don't. Spent the afternoon going to the Crud Run and I had a pleasant experience on the seat of the CBR. |
