Generally, I like it. Still trying to figure out if the little pod/wing things have any function, or are just cosmetic.

My guess is they're hiding the radiator hoses. I miss the round headlights.

Yeah... those headlights are lame. There's supposed to be a 1200 Triple in the works.

I'll take one of each.

Dear God that is aweful looking. That's a real shame. Hopefully they'll release a small wind screen that will clean that front end up a bit.

Previous Speed Triple's have a bare knuckles style that, when you first saw one, made you say "What the...oh that's pretty bad ass!" That's the first pic of the 2011 that I've seen, and so far I'd say it's having the same effect/affect.

I like it, but I'll have to agree about the weird headlights. Looks like Paris Hilton's sunglasses.

I like it a lot. I actually like the headlights. I really like that I can pick up a last gen 1030 for less now that the new model is out.

Those damn headlamps look like bug eyes, I like the look of the round ones much better.

Hmmm. I wonder if I changed it a little..."The double round headlights look like bug eyes. I like the look of the large single round headlamp much better." It's 2001 all over again.

More than likely, you can swap out the old lights if you like. I like them because they are different. The round has been done since the Speed Triple debuted. My guess is the look comes together when you buy the optional front fairing. I don't like the naked round lights without the front fairing. Any specs on the 1050 motor?

Just swap one for a round one. People will think it's a BMW!

If they could make a decent looking front end on one of there naked bikes I might like the Triumph offerings but every time I see one they always seem to have missed them mark on the head lights, small fairings and the gauges. The pods do not look bad to me.

I like it. Best mass produced street motorcycle engine ever. I hate that fly screen thing. Speed triples are meant to be naked and they are embellished by what you take off them. Not some dorky piece of weird shaped tupperware. Side bodywork would go on mine too. (Message edited by danger_dave on October 05, 2010)

Triples are great - a nice mixture of torque and horsepower. If they ever come out with a Daytona 1050 I may trade in the 675.

I'm glad to see the lights change. As the Speed Triple's styling continued to move more modern, they stuck out like a sore thumb.
