Saw 2 1125r's headed east, together, from Topeka, on Hwy 24, one red, one white. Anyone here? |

Hahahaha . . . wasn't me THIS time. If they are headed East on 24 I'd suggest they head North on the West side of Lake Perry and do one of my favorite loops up 237 . . . go unmarked roads and head toward 92. This is a perfect time of year there! I'd love to get in an Eskirdge, Council Grove and up 99 in before snow. |

Hey, Court! How are ya'? The girlfriend and I were cagin'-it towards KC on Hwy 24 Saturday afternoon, and the 2 riders followed me from north Topeka to Tonganoxie, where they finally passed me. There was a 20+ mph wind straight from the north that day, and you know, Hwy 24 straight east, through the river flats towards Perry, man it looked painful. NASCAR races were going at the KS Speedway, so maybe that's where they were headed. And I'd definitely agree with your choice of riding routes; some of my favorite, too. |
