Solution? Ask the non-islamists of Lebanon what they would do differently in hindsight. Ask the Brits. Ask the French. Ask the Dutch.
I'd put an image of "the blessed prophet" on the front page of every newspaper, on billboards all over the country, leading every newscast, along with a list of the most troubling tenets of islamism and sharia law and of the history of muhammed.
I would urge those who are ignorant of islamism, it's history, the Koran, sharia law to educate themselves.
Islam must reform and all muslims must pledge to disavow and repudiate entirely all the hate-speech, calls to violent jihad, and desire for Islamist theocracy/sharia law. Those who refuse would be named, publicized, watched, and tracked. The McCarthy era reborn but for islamists. |

Not possible.
What you call for repudiation is the core of the Muslim faith. It would be like asking a Christian to repudiate the trinity.
The strategy is to infiltrate a nation peacefully, quietly until their numbers are sufficient to create violent political, religious, and social overthrow of that nation.
Oddly, not that different from Marxism.
For many Muslims who live in the US, 9/11 was a healthy expression of First Amendment rights.
The mosque at ground zero is a continuation of that expression. |

I'd have kept guns in the cellars and taken them from dead nazi's if I lived in the Ghetto's and was Jewish back in the late 30's. Probably would have got the whole thing burned down as I killed brownshirts who came to arrest my friends. Still, a different history would have happened.
That couldn't happen, the same way, here. Ask the folk in big cities in the U.S. during the 60's race riots. The Police didn't come through and burn out the "bad" neighborhoods. The Nazi's would have. ( the nazi's would have shot Gandhi. )
The islamofascists would burn down the 'hood. ( so if you want urban renewal....shoot at the tyrants from the 'hoods that need to be burned down...  )
If I have to fight Sharia law in 21st century America, ( and sadly, we may ) I'd start with education, and only go to slaughtering the "keepers of the public virtue" as a second to last resort.
You'll know when. They will "come for" someone who offends them. Hmmm..... Is it time???

You were either misinformed about the mosque, ( not unusual, since the Imam is a lier ) or choose to state falsehoods. Which is it? ( that would be the difference between ignorant & malicious. ) |

I used to work for a manager that when interviewing new candidates always said ignorance can be fixed, stupidity can't. She hired some good people based largely on that axiom. |

I believe we should allow them to build it. When it bursts into flames one day... will the New York City Fire Department arrive to put it out? Bet all the available engines mysteriously breakdown on the way. When the fire investigators inspect the remains... won't they be able to pin the cause as arson by the builders? When the builder arrives in court... won't the judge toss them in jail. After their jail term... won't the immigration service toss them out of the country? Let's use the system they're using against us (ours), against them. |

The folks in Lebanon used to share your view of Muslims and islamism. I urge you and everyone to exercise due diligence; read the Koran, one organized chronologically. Learn the history of islamism as recorded by objective observers and by those who suffered under Islamist conquest. A good start would be Dr. Sultan's book, A God Who Hates, her story of growing up in Syria as a muslim woman, then emigrating to America. Learn about sharia law and islamist views towards women.
The eagerness by some like Toronto and Drkside to embrace ignorance while trying to wish away reality, ignore history, and turn a blind eye towards current events is maddening to witness. That they attempt to draw moral equivalence between islamism and Christianity goes beyond ignorance; it reveals a deep disdain for truth and fair objective debate. Apparently these ignorant apologists for Islam never learned about the reformation and revolution in Christianity, but even accepting such bewildering ignorance cannot explain willingly ignoring the incomparable scale of ongoing mass atrocities perpetrated by islamists versus the relatively negligible scale of witch burnings or whatever long past historic event they seek to conjure. They even raise the molestation of boys as if Christianity condones such behavior.
Islam not only condones violent jihad, brutality against women, and hatred of non-Muslims, especially Jews, it mandates it.
Do any of the "Islam is just alright with me types" have the slightest clue what is being perpetrated in the name of islamism every day all over the world? Genocide, mass-murder, "honor killings", brutal misogynistic oppression.
Educate yourself on reality. Ask a Lebanese or Egyptian Christian or any non-muslim citizen of any islamist territory what they think of such naively complacent views.
How many Germans were radical nazis?
How many Germans and liberals the world over stood by as totalitarian evil gripped their nation then spread across the globe?
I hope all will take time to study and consider more deeply and more carefully the issue of islamism.
When I am allowed to build a church in Islamist territory, then you can begin to seek my tolerance for islamist expansionism.

The bottom line is that islam is not just a religion; it is totalitarianism that mandates expansion and conquest through both infiltration and if necessary, violence.
What happened in Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, what is happening in Indonesia and the Sudan and other Islamist battlegrounds can happen anywhere that good men refuse to confront evil. |

This is a great question, and leads to another question. How many "moderate" Germans were lead to do horrible things that they never would have dreamed of doing otherwise? |

There is no plausible defense for a belief system that promotes polygamy, pedophilia (Mohammed married a six year old), incest (Mohammed married first cousins), misogyny, murder (honor killings), genocide (jihad) and lying, cheating, and stealing in the name of God: Islam is not a religion at all, but a cult. While other major religions of the world may have on occasion committed horrible crimes in violation of their central tenets, Islam commits horrible crimes precisely because they are central tenets.
