There are at least 4 here, myself on a red XT, Pete on a black CR, and we saw an XBS and XBR on Dickson street last night. If you're in the area and want to ditch the mayhem downtown in favor of riding some amazing roads, let me know. Phillip 402-253-4961 |

I will be in the area, but will be spending most of my time in Gravette. I'll give you a hollar if I get down there. Have fun |

221 South of Berryville claimed Pete's CR. Pete is okay for the most part, left arm is in pain but still movable. We're at the ER now. The bike is probably totaled. Light damage on the left side but there's a small dent in the frame just behind the pod. |

Been there several times with XB's. There is NO reason to be on Dickson street during daylight hours. The roads are terrific. The local bikers know the best ones. |

Update: Pete was home last night, then went to the hospital this morning to get more details. Doctor says he has 4 broken ribs and multiple fractures in his left scapula. And 10 stitches in his left knee. All from an accident that happened between 30 and 35 mph. The bike doesn't seem too bad but will probably be totalled. Left mirror and peg are broken. Clutch and shift lever are both intact. Bars are bent on the left, and the left side switch controls are broken. Didn't realize it until we got it to the dealer this morning, but something is locked up in the drivetrain. I went out riding today too, and dropped my Uly for the first time! Got some bad directions from a local and ended up riding 58 miles of gravel through the ozark mountains. I stalled the bike in the middle of a steep uphill hairpin (still gravel) and the bike started going over so I just jumped out of the way and let it slide. Didn't damage anything though, just a couple scratches on the frame puck, chin fairing, and swingarm. These bikes really do crash well! I'm heading into Missouri tomorrow earlier than planned to visit some family. With Pete's accident and my close call today I've decided I'm not gonna push my luck any more for now. These roads will still be here next year |
