Yes, that can look strangely out of place on a Buell. |

The exhaust was one of the first things I noticed as well. Well, after the part of it being Geoff May on the #99 Buell which doesn't have that exhaust. I have no idea.... I kept looking at it trying to figure it out. I guess we'll see. |

I doubt it is the final can. Bike is still under development for street use. On that note however, you think the 1125 can was attractive? |

I managed to pull a screen cap off the video.

Why does it sound like an inline four? Wow talk about a tease... It's like the movie fight club with the one frame shots....

If you remember Jen's team was forced to run an additional can at Assen due to sound limits of the 1190rr. http://www.pegasusraceteam.com/assets/images/db_im ages/db_A122.jpg |

It appears there are more images "hidden" in there. Hopefully Froggy or someone else with uber video powers can extract a few. |

Nice job on pulling the screen shot Hughlysses. Edit... retracting my last after seeing more still shots (Message edited by Chopped_Burban on September 14, 2010) |

Let the contrast and compare begin. I see the same rear lights and tail section. I did the easy part, now I'm off to bed.

I almost had an epileptic fit watching that video!!! When the bike is idling in the end, it definitely sounds like a twin. Looks like the same braking system up front?? |

looks like the same clutch housing, I'm sure it's a rotax twin. |

The bike is clearly a twin, so what's with the inline-4 sound from 0:08 to 0:12? Can't someone tell the audio/video guys that this stuff matters? It would be like mixing in some Justin Beiber on the next Queensryche video. |

There doesn't look to be any front cowl yet on the bike, so that would explain all the rear shots. Edit: Actually you can see some "floating" bolts to the left of the rear view mirror. The contrast washed out the upper white fairing. It is killing me that they put the inline four sound during the beginning of the video. (Message edited by unique_id on September 14, 2010) |

What the hell is up with the exhaust? |

My speculation about the exhaust... Regardless of whether this is production intent I think it's obvious that there will be some changes made to the exhaust, otherwise they would just stuck the goat bladder muffler or a E-B-R Race exhaust on it for mule purposes. However... that can looks way too small to quiet it down to street levels so I suspect they must also have a smaller/lighter/simpler muffler (than the goat bladder) under the belly pan that we are not seeing. |

What the hell is up with the exhaust? Just a guess on my part, but could there be a patent infringement by running the under slung 1125 exhaust? or maybe more for weight loss? Maybe the 1125 can doesn't work well with the extra CC's? |

many other manufacturers are starting to get the exhaust more under the bike and central to the center of the bike, he has ways around it. Im thinking its just preproduction, that he'll stick with his ideas he's had for two decades and keep it under the bike |

That exhaust can was moved up and out to make room for the turbo. Oh, and it sounded like a twin being wound out to me, not an inline four. I suppose I could disect the video and find the peaks on the waveforms and calculate back to the actual engine RPM... If I had time... (Message edited by reepicheep on September 14, 2010) |
