I'd like to see some pictures of how some of you are mounting your camera's to avoid vibrations from the bike, and/or the road. I've got a video camera I mounted on one of my bikes, and recorded some video's with. While the picture was very clear, it also jumped around with every bump the front end hit. So I'm curious, what have YOU done to resolve this? | ||

Try mounting it on your helmet. I run the contourHD and I mount it on my helmet. | ||

Odd enough, I mounted my camera either to the rear rack on a Uly tail section or the "W" bracket next to the engine. Unless you were at idle, the picture was clear. I mounted mine with a simple L-bracket made from 3/16 inch steel. It's strapped to the fork between the triple trees with zip-ties cushioned by a bit of rubber from an inner tube. I mounted my GoPro on the flat part of the front fairing stay just above the guages. You can see the mount base:  You can also see that I have some masking tape on the base to take up some slack in the base and the clip that goes in there. I also put a piece on the bottom of the clip, keeps it nice and tight. Resulted in these vids: | ||

here is vidja of the gopro with its suction cup mount attached to the from faring and airbox. Just the suction cup nothing else. I think my biggest problem is the stiff suspension I run on the 1125R and the roads I am travel. Mounted upside down, right between the headlights. I put a little masking tape cushion between the cam/faring. |
