A friend of mine lobbed her old 4sp Sportster 883 down the road a week or so ago, she's fine, but the sprocket cover footpeg mount bit/thingy is totally toast. It's a crap bit of design having the peg & brake pedal mounted in the middle of an alloy casting, but there you are. I've been looking on the web here & there for a cheap replacement for her but I don't know what the part is called. I was tempted to tell her to buy a real bike, but she's bigger than me. |

If it's the piece that holds the footpeg, has the pivot for the brake pedal, and mounts to the frame with 2 bolts...it's the "footpeg support, mid-mount controls". |

grumpy, I have a set off of a 05 Dyna lo-rider, after i installed forward controls. I have since sold the dyna, and have no use for them. I dont know if they are the same as the sporty, but if they are, you can have them... Robert. |
