Looks like that helmet took a good knocking! Glad to hear you're okay and hopefully your trusty steed will be soon again too. Just remember...chicks dig scars! |

That sucks man +1000 on what Glitch said! You handled the aftermath MUCH better than I would have. So did you leave your mark on the car at all? |

You've got an awesome attitude towards this...Yeah you walked away, you get to see the kids and that is definitely the most important part. I'm STILL bitter as shit about mine. Two rods in my leg and a beautifull bike that was sent to a salvage yard... Glad to hear your alright... |

ken you have that right, crazy streets some times. I remember thinking that it was 5:30 and I should just stop at the next exit and either back road it or wait it out... I was 200 yards shy of it ROFL the irony just kills me LOL thanks glitch vamp chili yep the helmet is toasted but insurance payed me for a new one so Ill be rocking another good lid in no time. Ian D how is your buddy? and yea I'm sore but good Ian D... umm again (dang what are the odds?) glad you made it without indecent, how were your shorts? LOL bolt32 thanks, I feel you though, if I was that wrecked I may be bitter too, especially if my bike went to a yard so here is the good news the insurance wrote me a check and didn't total my bike the better news they wrote the check including HD labor rates and said that I was welcome to wrench it myself the best news I have found nearly all the parts that I need and found them in good condition take off's at fractional prices I have a lot of insurance money left over for anything that may come up in getting back on the road I could be riding again by Sunday!!!!!

Great to hear Delta! After my wreck on the XB, I was in a similar situation, the insurance co gave me a bigger check than I was expecting, so I used it to buy my 1125CR, then fixed the XB up as cheap as possible. (Hence the lack of turn signals and mirrors ) |
