I'm gonna find a whooped up Triumph triple, and fix it!
Theres a couple Ducs I drool over now and then..........
I just saw a ZX-12 for $1200. Tear off the busted fairings, slap some upright bars on there, and hit it with some headlights? What a hooligan ride! Wish I had the $1200.
The Buell is still my favorite. It's getting taller bars this winter. I can't hate.........you should see my "short" list. Man I need to win the lottery!
The best bike for our current needs would be a 955i Tiger - ohlins, race tech, breathe on it slightly, race pipe, and for about half the cost of the Multi Strudle you've got a great adventure-touring bike that can fit off road tyres.

I've ridden the new Multi, It's a blast on the street, not sure how it behaves on dirt. For my money (I'm cheap) I'd rather have a Tiger 1050 w/ABS...were I to spend Duc $$ it would be a R1200GS...

I test rode one a few month ago....I love it too , but it don't come cheap or even close with the bags and heated grips . IMO it rides a lot like a uly but with 50 more horsepower(uly with a 1125 in it) . Very nice bike BUT I bought a uly for less than half the money and I don't need all that power to tour. You can get a 1125 and a uly for that kind of $$ Rick

And remember, if Buell weren't defunct, a Uly with bags and an 1125R would be over $24,000 in motorcycles. Yes but I would have TWO BUELLS instead of one Ducati . I still think 2 is better that one . 3 or 4 is even better

Don't get me wrong - I have an 1125CR and an S3T and I love them both enough to have no interest in getting rid of either one, BUT...
A bike that can take on whatever mood or road is encountered? That's just friggin' cool.
I think the biggest thing for me about this bike is if you look at it as nothing more than a Sport Tourer, it's lighter than anything else in that segment by a long shot. That's been a constant turn off to me on things like the C14 or ST1300. I don't know why they need to be so damned heavy, and the MS1200 shows that they don't need to be.
And if you don't need the electronic suspension, $15k. Not THAT bad, me thinks.
Doesn't much matter - at that price, a Uly is likely next up for me.

I just talked to a guy with a new MultiStrada....He HATES IT. Says the fueling is horrible. almost impossible to ride at normal speeds and be comfortable..
That Sport Classic Ducati is a beauty, and one of the sales staff at the local H-D dealership has an absoluely spotless one with Termignioni exhaust system on it for sale. I cant't believe his boss lets him park that thing out front; it is freakin' stunning. I want it soooooo bad!
