Please. Without science, it would have been a bit tricky to fly the plane into the building. I don't blame science or religion, I blame power hungry murders. |

that bus has to be in Europe. America would get its panties in such a twist over offending somebody's delicate sensibilities. |

European bus, why you ask? No hubcaps, and the lights are working. For some reason Transit agencys in the US will include the added expence of hubcaps on their buses so they spend all the budget for the year. Also with hub prevent the drivers(steerers) from checking for those pesky wheel cracks and loose lug nuts. By the way, it anybody is interested...in Grand Rapids, MI this weekend, there is an event called the Metro Cruise. It will be held along the famous 28th Street, West of Us 131. The highlight of the event in my opinion will be the General Motors Parade of Progress show vehicle #10 at the Rogers Plaza. I have pictures of me driving the restored #10 somewhere around here. One sold at auction a few years back for 1.4 million. HICK-A-BILLY JIHAD! BEEOTCH! |

That'll be a UK bus, it's driving on the left. Operated by Arriva, who were purchased by Deutsche Bahn yesterday.. |

So, you guys believe our existence here is the result of cosmic chance from ingredients that created themselves. Wow, that takes a lot of faith. |

So, you guys believe our existence here is the result of cosmic chance from ingredients that created themselves. Wow, that takes a lot of faith. And you believe that you were given 'free will' by a god that is omnipotent. A god that knows the past present and future. My paradox trumps yours cause it is in your own 'manual'

Spidey, my point isn't whose paradox trumps whose. My point is that even your point of view takes a leap of faith. Science is not bad. I love science. But science is a long way from proving many of the things that are taught as fact. Scientific theories have changed very much even over just the past 100 years. To think that science has creation or evolution figured out takes just as much faith or belief as faith in God requires, even more in my opinion. What I know is that God changed my life and that I am much more at peace with the world and myself than I was before. That is not based on a feeling, that is based on reality. But I am not here to argue, just to share my view. Have a great day. |

I'm with Dyna. I have a lot of misunderstandings about both physics and God. Constant work on both help replace wrong ideas that don't seem to work with right ones that seem to work really well. But at the end of the day both take a lot of faith. Take yesterday for example. First, I heard a neat little podcast about "what you do with the dash. Put your birth date down. Draw a dash. Someday your death date will be written there, and somebody will be talking at your funeral about "what you did in the dash". Use it well, love people, do things, and first and foremost get the hell off the couch. At the same time I was listening, I was fixing a 1990 KX-60. It had a bad coil, a bad ground (on a bracket supposedly welded to the frame, go figure that out) a fouled plug (that would immediately refoul because the coil was intermittent), and the jetting was off. Believe me, it took a lot less faith to believe there is a God that wants me to be a blessing to the people he made around me, and who wants me to be a blessing to the people around me, then it did to get that &$^&@ - &*$&^ - *$&&^@^@ dirt bike running. Cost less money too! |
