Great pics. Is the bike lowered or is that std ride height? I'm not that familiar with them to know. |

Hey Mike, Great photos, but............ I thought you told me that you were going to Photochop out the double yellow! Damn! Lion, the bike is lower than most, I did not lower it. As you can see, the suspension is not compressed very much - I recently fitted stiffer springs. Very user friendly machine, and a nice looking one, in my opinion. Thanks Glitch |

Jon, That is a nice bike, indeed. Now if you want to get rid of that tight spot on your forehead... If it is caused by your helmet, you can take the rounded part of a tablespoon, put your thumb in the bowl and smooth and massage the edge of the foam in that part of your helmet. You can do it right through the lining if it can't be moved out of the way. Just do a little at a time until the pressure is off that spot. Man, I had to re-write this several times to squelch any illicit remarks. |

Americanmade, Prior,Bear, Spider and Dave, thanks for the props. Fat Man, I think you have a very good point there about those pesky double yellows. Pammy, can't believe no one ever noticed that before! That helmet is almost five years old, and I gave it a couple of good shots with a ball peen hammer when I got it. Guess I didn't hit it hard enough! Your giving me just the excuse I need to get one that fits. Thanks. |

I almost winced when I saw it. Looks like it work be sore after a while. A table spoon works just fine and doesn't damage the helmet. I have done it quite a few times. Works like a charm. |

GJ, You are most definitely not a round helmet head. Shallow oval or oval for you. |

My "real" helmet is an Arai Profile. It is a long oval and it fits like a dream. Problem is I never wear it, because for every day riding I prefer a flip up because of my spectacles. There don't seem to be many long oval modular helmets. One that gets good reviews is the low cost Zeus ZS-3000 helmet, and the ZS-3000A which is the only Snell approved modular helmet. Unfortunately, they only seem to sell them on eBay, with a no return policy. I hesitate to go that route as I have never even seen one. Has anyone seen and worn a Zeus? |

Hi Ray, I still have my XB12, Lil' Blackie. I am trying to sell it, but so far no luck. Harley really kicked the used Buell market into the ditch, didn't they? I would like to get down to Buelloberfest, but it is a long trip, and trying to find someone to drive down with me is always a problem. Between the two thousand miles of driving and the obligatory Deals Gap stop, it's about a week's trip. |
