kinda changing the topic here but I thought I would ask if anyone has test rode a Suzuki BK King yet? I've seen a couple of them at the dealer and they seemed to be priced right and have plenty of motor, looks and feels good to sit on but I haven't ridden one yet. Just asking! I too like the Triumph Scrambler as a good all-around motorcycle. carry on! |

Is heat an issue with the high pipes on the scrambler? |

Not in normal riding - but I don't have any heat issues with a Buell either. Melted holes two pairs of goretex pants - contact on the headers while reasonably extreme Adv riding. |

Can't help with the B-king - tall people don't fit on it. I was more comfortable on a Hyabusa. |

d-d, you are right - the bmw r1200r is certainly a standard. but that is my idea of a cruiser... doug s. |

I love the sound of that motor in "trundle" mode. "Nice" beat! To my way of thinking this would be a good platform to make a full on tourer out of. Hard bags, top box and a batwing or frame mounted fairing. It would give the ElectaGlide or the CrossCountry a run for their money. |
