New to forum. Bought a 2001 Yellow Blast for my 16 year old so he can ride with me. He likes the yellow plastics but would prefer black. I have checked multiple websites and cant seem to find the plastics anywhere. Called my local HD dealer and new are $400 for front fender, tank cover and tail piece. Hoping to spend less than that. Would be happy to purchase or possibly trade the yellow for black providing they are in excellent shape. |

My suggestion would be to post a want add in the classified section of this board. Or check eBay. |

Cmat...go to the "thumper" section of this board...the guys there have the 411 on all things Blast! If all else fails, the plastics can be sanded and painted. But in case you didn't know, the color on Buell plastics goes all the way thru the plastic, so if you get a scratch, it can be buffed back to new appearance. Thank for the suggestion. I have just posted my question on the "wanted" portion of the classifieds. |

You could always paint them. Spraycan sucks... but good prep with an HVLP gun and an air compressor could work out well. |
