My brother, Michael Spencer Dowling has passed into eternal life. 5/24/1964 - 8/10/2010 Massive heart attack while walking among the trees at Sequoiah National Park in California. It was his favorite place to go since he lost his eyesight a decade ago. He was suffering from renal failure and on dialysis constantly. He had been on a waiting list for transplant over 3 years, but recently the doctors had said he was too weak to survive the procedure any more. To my only sibling Michael, I loved you always. | ||

Mike taught me all my bad habits, how to survive in the wilderness, and most importantly how to fight and shoot. His father was never around, neither was mine... we were lucky to eventually have a great step dad. During those in-between years all we had was each other. We built a baja bug together and won a race in it once. I still have the little trophy they gave us. It just became one of my most prized possessions. I love you Mike.  | ||

Yeah, we were always worried he would die while hooked up to that damned dialysis machine... Thanks be to God for letting him pass in such a beautiful place.
