As Wilson stated, I was fortunate enough to have met Scott along with Brankin at the boiler room in 07', then to see them again at the 25th, and recently at our grass roots homecoming. You will be missed. |

I did not know Scott as my friends Jens and Frank did, but I did meet and speak with him during the XBORG MSM 2008 - he made a good impression. I remember how many people spoke highly of him while there - he was obviously well-liked. It's sad and unfortunalte that I will not get to meet him again or get to know him better... My condolences to his family and friends. Eric H. - Copenhagen, Denmark. |

So here is my little story. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of pictures, because I use more my Video cam. In August 2003 I bought my 12S, and I was one of the first members in our XBorg Forum ( it’s the sister of the fames German Borg Forum. Borg means Buell Owner Repair Group :-) ) In December 2003 Dirk and I, decided to start with the Stammtisch Rhein-Main, so we was 2 Members at the beginning, we have had every month, at the second Friday our Buell meeting. In April 2004 Scott was our 3 Member at our Stammtisch Rhein-Main. Our first big trip together was the MSM (Midsummer Meeting) 2004 in Hamburg. So we 3 started together in the morning from Frankfort to Hamburg, at Kassel we met Frank ( = Tutte) and some other guys. Now we were 25 Buells on the Highway up to Hamburg. In Hanover we picked up a copal of Buell riders at the end we arrived with 120 Buells on the MSM Hamburg, it’s was a big spectacle on the road
from right to left Frank (=Tutte), Scott, Peter, I and Dirk Our Stammtisch Rhein-Main was growing up, and we got more and more members At 2005 we have visited together with Scott the MSM in France. It was a nice meeting and at the trip back home we, have done the decision, we will organize also an MSM.
in front you see Gunters blue XB9R and right Scotts blue XB9R
Tuttes fantastic X1 In 2006 we were traveling together to the MSM to Schrecksbach. Scott was riding the first time his S1, he has bought his second Buell in Germany. His son Marc was also the first time behind on the S1 and it was Marcs first MSM. In 2007 we visited together with Scott and Marc and our Stammtisch the MSM in Münster, here we met Brankin the first time. In 2008 finally, it was our turn to organize the MSM Frankfort. Brankin was our special guest form America on our MSM. two Links to the Video of our MSM 2008 Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6IMgu-IlJc MSM 2008 Part 2, attention after the drum session of my son Luca, you will see nude strip girl in that film! So its up to you to see the second part or not :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IRaVHnIaEk Scott has bought in 2008 his M2 in USA. And Scott offers me to come with him to visit the 25. Anniversary. So we started directly after our MSM to Minneapolis.
Scott with his Mom
Scott and I Scott was so kind to let me ride on the M2, because after a test sitting on his Blast, we both noticed, the Blast isn’t build for my long legs!
It was the first time for me to ride a tube frame Buell. It was great and we have had a lot of fun. We met Brankin and Jeff at East Troy and spend the 25. Ann. Meeting together and Brankin, was a fantastic Road Captain.
You can see we have had nice weather conditions, Scotty looks like an racoon :-), you can see Eriks wife standing in the background
Scott passed our MSM 2008 Shirt to Erik
next day we visited the safe house in Milwaukee
Jeff in front, Brankin and Scott
Brankin and Scott Then Scott and I went up to Lake Superior, but his M2 brake down, close to Tomahawk. Scott and I went to a Harley Dealer, and they changed the sealing of the Primary. But it was the sealing of the starter, which was blown up, because the starter was moving more and more and ruined the sealing. So we went by Trailer up to the lake Superior,
Scott fixing his M2, it was raining and fresh weahter and later we met James ( the brother of Scott) for a couple of ours. James was working up in that corner. In the night arrived Bob, the friend of Scott with his Pickup and a Trailer behind, so got back by car. After our fantastic tripe in USA I met Scott several times on our Stammtisch, but he has started more and more racing on the race track. So we didn’t any more trips together on the normal roads. Last Wednesday Frank me forwarded the Mail from Brankin, who was asking, please tell me that’s not our Scott. But I was our Scott we have lost on Sturgis. Scott you will be always in our mind. |
