What the Harley faithful are about to go through dwarfs anything we Buell riders have gone through. I agree! Once Harley starts making their motorcycles overseas, I think there done in America! Americans will no longer want their imported product and their popularity in the states will die quickly. |

I can use figure skates to play ice hockey, I could use a metal bat to play hard ball (baseball), I could use a rock to drive a nail, I could use two cans and a string to make a phone call, I could use my foot to kick down a door instead of a key... Just cause I can doesn't mean it is smart or right. There are always other options with tools and the way you should do things. If you need a specific tool for a specific job get that tool, don't try to dress up a brick as a hammer... (BTW the hammer wasn't a harley jab, just an analogy) ((kinda looks like one)) (((hell I'm gonna have to use that as one later ))) (Message edited by spiderman on August 17, 2010) |

Cyclonedon, I'm not sure that it's going to matter where they're made, considering that so many (not all) are just buying them for the name and lifestyle that goes with it. If it mattered, they'd all be buying a Victory instead! |

Last time I rode an ultra(same as an RK but with a bunch of stuff attached) I found it to be an enjoyable experience. I like my bolt better, but the ultra runs, my bolt don't...Would love to give a ULY a try, but nobody has given me the keys yet. To me the best bike is the one that's in your garage and paid for... spidey-I thought you always wore figure skates anyway... |

Only when I want to feel pretty! The Ultras are nice once in a while. You have a radio and a ciggy lighter. You can blast some offensive music, smoke a ciggy while doing 80! I never found it too comphy though. I was doing 150 miles before I needed to get off the seat. I can do 200+ on the S2... |

Bagger..... More cubic inch storage than the Ultra. and no whiney high pitched noise from the back seat |

Just a further example of the needs of the individual and there's no right answer. How high is the saddle off the ground slick? The very top of my knee is 23.5". |

its a custom seat, it puts me below the dreaded 27 mark I wanted a ULY too, but after having to have someone hold the bike for me to get on and off at a track day, I knew it wasnt in the cards |
