I got a sales flier from Cycle Gear today...on the back is this disclaimer that I think is way cool.... " Remember, your mother was right, motorcycle riding is potentially tough on bones and flesh, so use your head as we cannot be responsible for the improper use of the stuff you buy. Always wear gear actually designed to protect a motorcyclist, so no flop-flops. And take the time to check out your gear to make sure everything's still working. Oh, just so we are clear, nothing on the planet can promise to protect 100% of your hide in every kind of face plant, high-side, low-side, get off and tank-slapper you can manage to get yourself into. So ride safe!" I thought that was cool...kind of a for riders by riders sort of common sense sort of thing. |

You can have my flip-flops when you pry them from my cold, dead, ground-off toes. |

I'm surprised that their lawyers let them use that language. It's actually quite refreshing. |
