Any help? What's the best way to resize pictures for uploading on this site? I tried one method earlier, but failed. Using a pc and camera was set too large to upload? |

Something that works (assuming you have Windows) - open your pic with MS Paint. Then click <image> Select <stretch> Now in the <horizontal> and <vertical> boxes, try 20% for each. Do a save. That'll re-size nicely to post. If it is still too large or too small, try another percentage of the original size. This way you can do all your changes right there without having to go online to use any of the usual utilities. I figure EVERYBODY has paint - a pretty useless program but it WILL do simple re-sizing quite nicely. |

I know there are many, but I like to use "Easy Thumbnails". It's freeware and available at www.fookes.com |

Oddalloy, I did that one and it was easy thanks! didn't mean to thread jack with the pic, just trying to figure out how it worked. |

I use Gimp (www.gimp.org) and just scale the image to the size I need. 800x600 works well here with a 100 kb size limit. |

Even easier, get a photobucket type account. Upload your pics, then link them in with [IMG] code or the \imagelink code... |

BatchPhoto. Will resize them to useable size... I can't stand 1mb+ picstures!!! Use batchphoto to take down DPI and quality a notch or two, will bring them down to 200kb or less... |
