Looking for some media contact details if anybody knows them please. I was told the other day by someone who would know that bike sales here are the lowest they have been since 1962. We're told that things are still pretty good compared to a lot of places, but leisure products and big boys toys are in stasis. Hopefully/probably better in the summer they all hope. Subsequently my customers aren't advertising and my production studio is similarly slow for the first time in 20 years. Done all the standard things - called old clients - started advertising the biz too, etc etc. I called tourism NZ and they will sponsor me to produce articles that promote tourism *if* I can sell them. So far I've got one sold into an Australian bike mag and would like to approach some US publications. Touring stories, bike tidbits and good eye candy - you guys know what I've got. Soooo, Any 'likely' publication contact details? Editors I can email, names I can drop, blackmail I can extort, appreciated. | ||

>> a good search could turn up a lot of venues.<< Thanks. It's not really advertising though - it's editorial - sailing close to the wind yes :-), but it's easier to secure with an introduction. I'll annoy Court on email. The threats are harder to trace. The problem cold calling is I'm still waiting for the cheque from a local travel mag publisher. It's only been about two years so far. |
