I think someone posted this website a while back. Answered several questions for me. http://www.rcvsmc.net/ WAY too many rules and regulations for me. I have to deal with FINRA, NAIC, the SEC every day. The last thing I need are more rules I might accidentally break. |

why can't a MC club have a TV show. perfect way to broadcast oneself. Make some cash, get some girls, up your numbers... Hell they're doing on the history channel too... |

Card carrying/patch wearing member of the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association. The first thing new members get is a packet called "Biker 101" that explains most of the "rules". As a single patch assn, we generally get left alone by the 1%ers but there are still "No Fly Zones" where we take off the patch due to issues with the local CoC. It all comes down to respect. Failure to comply can be painful |

All this seems a bit strange to me. Respect me or I'll beat the crap out of you or worse. I don't believe I want anything to do with such an organization. I just enjoy riding a motorcycle, I don't need to get involved with groups that believe this behavior is somehow appropriate. |

Agreed Dyna. To me it seems "good" people wanting to associate with "bad" clubs are like people subscribing to Playboy for the articles. I'm sure there are good clubs with plenty of nice people. That said, I can't imagine good clubs beating interlopers up just because. To me, it seems, the only difference between some motorcycle clubs and gangs like MS 13 is the motorcycles. |

Gotta have really low self-esteem, a major inferiority complex, to behave violently in response to someone wearing a motorcycle club's logo. So much for freedom of speech? BadWeB BMC anyone? (BMC = Buell Motorcyclist Club) Texas chapter? I thought that the three patch form with rocker was offensive because it mimicked the cherrished "outlaw" MC logo and is considered an insulting counterfeit, deceptive/dishonest fraud. In that case, simply use a three patch form that has a different layout, like left and right side bars in lieu of top and bottom rockers, no? |

The LAST thing I want is something attention grabbing on my back, old scuffed black leather is fine for me. |

Great link ft_bstrd! Glad you posted it. Hope more people read it. There are good clubs with good people. Flip side, I'm sure there a plenty of buell riders, who while not in a club, walk around like a badass and have launched on a few people. People are people, no matter what they wear, ride, or do. Blake, not that simple. Usually one club will ask, even politely, someone / other club to take off their colors, or leave, before any violence takes place. Most of the time, as in 99% of the time. In a case of violence what happens is someone is asked to remove their colors/leave, and gets an attitude about it. Tells the club doing the asking to F@#K off! That's when the it hits the fan. |

Oh, that's different. You politely ask someone to take off their jacket and they won't do it. Of course you have to kick some butt. |

Hahaha- I talked with a good friend of mine tonite, mentioned I'd seen them Tuesday passing through downtown Mur-vil on the way to somewhere. A group of about 8-10 riders were heading to a LOH meeting (Ladies of HOG). They were going to dinner at a place towards Knoxville, The owner of the restaurant had arranged to do a private dinner for them. Some patch wearing dude walks in and "crashes" their dinner, wanting to know whose bikes are these, what club, etc, from a bar across the street. He'd been sent there to see what was going on. He almost got his ass kicked by a bunch of women. Definition of "Douche"... haha- wish it were a probate, and they had kicked his ass. |

Knoxville, sounds like it could have been the outlaws, dunno. Dynasport: In some cases, yes. Anyway, like I said in my first post, didn't really mean to turn this into a debate / suck / or not suck, in terms of the MC thing. Was trying to be informative. Should not have defended anything. It's good to have the info, even if you think it sucks or is bullshit. |

Whisper- you're probably right, the Outlaws seem to be the "bad boys"- they had a big bust several months ago, saw a few familiar faces on the news... FWIW, I know several Highlanders locally, to the man they are good peeps- one of the head cheese guys (current or former prez) is very active in the TN statewide M/C club coalition, kind of a confederation. Once upon a time I'd thought about joining up- always been a "loner", but the appeal of a fraternal group is there- I got over it. Still glad to call many of them my friend- one of the better benefits of once being in the HD/BUELL sales biz. On a slightly different note- anyone seen the movie "Hell Ride"? AFAIK, that was Dennis Hopper's last movie, and his character was my fave. Peace, keep the rubber side down... |

I dated a guy from an MC once. And once was enough. At the time he had a crappy Yamaha 650 something and I had a crappy Yamaho 750 SECA. I had more cc's and more miles and more experience riding than this mother f***er... He told me the "rules" regarding women in his MC... you will ride in the back if you ride your own bike with us... if you get a "Property Of" patch, you will only wear it if you are riding on the back of my bike, and the back of the bike is your "spot"... Thing was he was a sexual dynamo so I did put up with him for four or six weeks, I don't remember... then I told him to put his friggin patches where the sun don't shine and to go get some bimbo he can order around... That relationship lasted a month too long... if you have to treat a woman like shit to feel like a real man... you, indeed, are a piece of crap and not a real man at all... Same club members, which I genuinely liked a hell of a lot, came up to me to try and start a chapter of women only that would be associated with their club... I very politely declined... WTF... get a clue... a few years later I helped start a BRAG chapter at DOC's HD-B in Shawano where three of four primary officers were women... a helluva lot more fun than the damn club this loser was a part of... I am NOT saying all MC club members are idiots, or bad people, just some of their rules are so archaic, it seems to me they are back in the friggin stone ages... me like woman, me club her over the head and drag her into the bush... WTF WHATEVER... go play with yourselves now, cause I aint playin... |

I generally like the idea of folks coming together over similar interests. I feel Badweb offers much of that. That to me should be the intent of a club. |

Whatever, The xwinos DO NOT have Property of Patches. Not gonna happen. Women, and all non-members do ride in the back, if in a large pack. Small packs on non official runs are more informal. Here in Arkansas many times, we just go to ride, and the order is ups for grabs. Ft, True enough. "XWINOS" pretty much tells you what our biggest similarity is. I found it funny, when everybody was talking about the tool tubs on BBD. Putting "fuel" aka whiskey, vodka, etc. in them. I was good alcohol smuggler back in the day. One of the best ways for me was sprite and good vodka. Dump half the sprite out (plastic bottles), fill with vodka, Put cap on as tight as possible, put in freezer, till it's a slushy. Go to ball park. Still has bubbles, tension in the bottle, cold, like you just bought it at the local store. In plain sight |

This is the only patch going on the back of my jacket: I'm pretty sure no MC should feel threatened whether there is a rocker or not. |

Dude, I want a sicker of that!! My buell bro in the club would love it. We could give them out as "rewards" to prospects, or when it looks like some of the bros are doing exactly that! Whatever: That piglet would be great for sportster riders |

I was in a MC at one time it was interesting to say the least. We actually had to have permission from the Main MC here in Texas and pretty much had to answer to them anytime we did something stupid. Like for instance one time one of our prospects decided to ride a wheelie on the highway and cut off the vice presidents wife. Needless to say him and the president of our club had to appear before them and appologize for it. |
