Funeral Services for Steve McGoveran (Roadrunr) will be Thursday August 5, 2010, at Klein Memorial Park, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia TX 77354. Viewing is from 1 to 3 PM, services at 3 PM.

Steve took his own life on Saturday morning. He leaves his wife, Shannon and two children.

Shannon tells me that after the service, guests are welcome at their home. If you need to contact Shannon, PM me for her phone number.

Aye. I had just spoken to him a few weeks ago. He was going to help me with the drywall in my addition. People contemplating suicide generally don't make plans for the weekend. Whatever was eating him must have come on suddenly. I'll stop speculating. It isn't doing any good.

That is so terrible. My heart goes out to those left behind. Although you have to feel for the dark painful place Steve must have been to do this, the pain he leaves behind will be worse. I know. Pray for peace for his family and close friends.
