Have you *asked* your local shop? HD *or* metric? My local metric shop always has specials on one brand or another...and it just feels good to shop locally when I can. |

Check out Derby Cycles in Kentucky. $232.00 to the house for Michelin Pilot Road 2's. |

Michelin Pilot Road 2's. +1 for Derby Cycles, but the PR2 have to be the absolute worst handling tire I have every had on any bike. They came stock on my '09 BMW RT and I replaced the rear when it wore out and I'm nearly ready to take them off (another couple hundred miles). I have run Avons, Maxxis, Metzlers, and many other tires on a variety of bikes, but none seemed to handle as poorly and create as much road noise as the PR2 do. Yet, I know people who love them, so I can't quite figure out what the story is on them. I picked up a set of Pirelli Angels that I'm going to replace the PR2 with on the RT. I'm sticking with the Pirelli Syncs on the Uly, and I'm not sure what to try next on the CR, but I'm considering the Avon VP2 sports. What bike are you running the PR2's on? |

Shoot Erik Buell Racing an email, you may be very surprised at what they have for tires and what they want for them! I just bought my new set from them and could not have been happier. |

+1, Erik Buell Racing tires!!! I bought my Pirelli Angel front from Erik Buell Racing at Homecoming for $50 cash, paid $53 for a local dude to mount it up, rode home on it. Hooks up fine so far compared to the Scorpion Syncs- and the Syncs wear faster than a pencil eraser at an SAT exam. Give 'em a holler!!! |

Must be why I got 15,000 miles out of one (Almost at that mileage on my Diablo Strada, these things last forever!) |

Froggy: Are you getting 15K out of the rear? I can see that for the front, that about matches what I see (10-14K for the front), but I'm in the 6-8K range on the rears using the syncs. Wayne |

15K front, 12k rear, still had more life in the rear but the front was a gonner. Rear: Front:
