I bought a GSX-R600 yesterday to use as a track bike (so I don't wad up my Uly which I intend to keep forever). Why doesn't Suzuki have the nifty suspension settings charts in the owner's manual like Buell does? You know, the ones with the specific values for preload and damping according to your weight. |

It's double top secret...why tell an owner how to set up the suspension when you can tell the owner that it has to go to the shop for that....silly... |

Which reminds me about the story, a goof was buying a Gixxer at my sons store, and takes a Shoei off the shelf with a cool paint scheme on it, the sales man lets the kid take the helmet and set it on the tank and takes a few steps away to see if the paint matches and the helmet hits the ground breaking one of the vents on the top of the helmet, $700 later my kid is asking the owner, just who the hell is paying for the helmet because he isn't writing it off. |
