I woke up this morning. I am having a most excellent cup of coffee. I had a still warm donut. The A/C in my office works wonderfully. Did I mention, I woke up this morning??? My Dad always said "Any day above dirt is a good day".... I get to go riding Sunday My work week will most likely end up being less than 80 hours. I only had two people cuss at me so far this morning. Yup...it's a GOOD day. |

My son has been ill for a long time but has been recovering this last month. Each day he gets a little better. I cannot express what a relief that is. Thank God, it is a great day. |

I got a really good deal on a moped and have been tooling around on that thing running errands and the like. I am going to teach my girlfriend how to ride it and am having a blast riding around on it. |

I got my old job back, don't know if that is really good or not LOL bu tit pays better than unemployment. And if all pans out i'll get a fire sale 1125 next season. My summer hockey team is 2-0 and both those games I got the shutout. Getting the hardwood floors re-done in the house, they were pre-finished so they looked like shite, just the sanding made em all nice an flat. I hit a big chunk of concrete that was laying in the road, but was able to miss the oil pan or any other moving/structural components. The rabbit shelter I volunteer at was able to quickly raise the 6k needed for an expansion project. My tomatoes in my garden are going APE-CRAP, here come the jars of sauce BABY! The rain barrels are holding up and been pretty much full 24/7 cause of all the rain, so I haven't used city water since putting them up. hmmmmm That's about it I think. |

My S3T finally showed up from the shippers after my NY to CA ride (read about it here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/681 7/577035.html?1280319089 ) I've been seeing a new girl after a seriously poisonous relationship for about 6 months now, and things couldn't be better. My new iPhone comes today! Cheer up, bud |

The phone and electric are still on, my Uly does not do FL/R/S anymore in the heat of summer, we have company right now and my aunt gave me a nice hug this morning and then my uncle offered to help around here today, and I am planning for my trip to WVBR, which may now include three or four days of riding before hand. Yep, so far it's a good one! Business still sucks and all of that, it is going to be that way whether I am happy or not, so why let that ruin the good stuff that is happening? |

Also I found out I will be able to get 3 different sources of income when I get out of the army and all I have to do is go to school to play with cars. |

I've been invited to come out out to Las Vegas by some good friends of mine. One of them works for an airline so flying out won't cost me a dime. They have also asked for my resume. They think I have a good change of landing a job with a company where one of them currently works. I live in hope. (Message edited by Zane on July 29, 2010) |

I think you heard I got a new dog I was just thinking the other day how blessed I've been in 2010. Besides all the much over looked stuff like good health, healthy kids, great marriage, food on the table, roof over my head and employment I got a new (to me) pistol, a new grill, (one of those gas/charcoal combo jobs)and new tank cover for the bike. I've gone on a vacation, taken a few weekend trips and just last night had dinner out with just me and the wife. I can't complain, but I probably still will, 'bout something. |

Some good news, the pilot is the cousin to my wife: Plane Forced to Land On Golf Course http://www.panhandleparade.com/index.php/mbb/artic le/plane_forced_to_land_on_golf_course/mbb7724922/ PANAMA CITY BEACH — When the engine on his Cessna 172 went out Saturday while he was flying at 4,000 feet above Bay County, Tony Weedn did not have many options. “He looked at the beach, and there were a lot of people on the beach. He looked at the highway, and there were a lot of cars on the highway,” said Justin Landingham, one of Weedn’s passengers. So, Weedn picked the 17th green at Shark’s Tooth Golf Course to make an emergency landing. He had to dodge large trees and sand traps in order to get the plane to safety. It was a hole in one. Weedn, 28, an Air Force pilot, and Landingham, along with 27-year-old Yeshua Goodman and his wife, 30-year-old Trisha Goodman, weren’t hurt in the incident. Even the plane got through it unscathed. >> See video of the four moments after the plane landed. The white Cessna still was on the golf course Sunday evening, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, waiting for the FAA to arrive Monday to conduct an investigation. The group had been flying from Fort Walton Beach to Orlando as part of a surprise birthday event for Landingham. The plane was rented, Weedn said. Everything seemed to be going well until the engine powered down. Weedn grew up in Oklahoma and has been flying since he was 12. He had been taught from a young age to look for a field when something goes wrong and the plane won’t make it to an airport. “There aren’t a lot of fields in Florida,” Weedn said. As the plane was going down, Weedn turned to his passengers and told them the plan. “Guys, I have been training for this my whole life,” Landingham recalled Weedn saying. “We’re going to be fine,” he promised. Then he turned back around and started working. “He was just in command the whole time,” Landingham said. “He was like a rock.” When the plane landed, Weedn turned back to his passengers again and asked if they were OK. His face had turned white, Landingham said. “God put us in the exact spot we needed to be,” Weedn said. “We didn’t really jolt around a lot. I thought it was going to be much worse than it was.” He added that his training — the training he has been doing his whole life — took over. “Nobody was hurt,” Weedn said. “Praise God for that.” On Sunday night, the group was back together making dinner and spending time with one another. “He was perfect,” Landingham said. “I would fly with him again any day of the week.” http://www.wjhg.com/home/headlines/99208879.html http://blog.al.com/live/2010/07/pilot_makes_emerge ncy_landing.html |

OMG Advanced dirt bike school that will get you out of a rut fast! It sounds like FUN! I don't know if you knew my story about how I came to ride the Buells but in 2000 I bought my first one the X1 Buell Millennium and the same year, 3,600 miles later a drunk driver took it from me. Pretty good crash, he rear ended me and it broke the bike in 2. Fast forward to last week. I see a thread in the Buell bikes for sale a Badwebber selling his 2000 X1 Millennium just under 300 miles away from me and the price was something that can't be passed up so I now own another X1M and have the X1 racing stripe too. I'm having Lexus moments in the garage. I rode it down the street when I got it home. I'm in love again |

Hmmmmm.... After long time of being single and casual dating...found an awesome gf. Accepts me for me and all my redneck ADHD craziness, she loves Buells and riding on the back of mine, she's short like me and from Baltimore. She's moving back to Bmore for school as am I. Fate hahah maybe. Been making money selling various crap from house on ebay and craigslist. Got my Magnaflow custom exhaust for my Firebolt figured out. Got my associates degree after 5 years of community college, (I'm 24), and get to move back to Baltimore, my favorite place ever Get my bachelors at Towson hopefully and getting away from snooty overpriced DC! Life is good like they talk about in country songs.... |

Is that a train the trainer thing? I didn't think Ohio offered the advanced dirt bike class yet... The basic class was great, all the kids loved it. |

Well first off I am still here. After a close call back in March with my main artery 98% blocked and almost not making it thru that I am happy for everyday I wake up. My daughter Graduated College. One down one to go. Got a few new bikes in the past year. Four to be exact. Three new Buells and a new HD Street Rod. Although the 1125's are both in the shop for the last month trying to get the electrical problems worked out. The Uly and the Street Rod are working fine. Been able to get to Montauk every weekend since homecoming to sit on the beach and take photos for people surfing and get paid for it. Still have to go to my engineering day job during the week, but hopefully only for the next couple of years. Need to get my son thru College first. Have a great wife who has put up with not spending any time with me in the last four years while I have been working 90 hours a week trying to get my photography work to pay off. Although if you ask her she might say that was a good thing. Things could be a lot worse. Cheer up Wolf. Your ride is coming up and I am sure you will have a great time. Wish I could make it. |

Last year was pretty bad in several ways for me, but things are looking up. My wife worked in a very toxic environment, and was finally let go. She now has a better job with better benefits, but most importantly is out of the toxic environment. My sister had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy, but she has made it through the tough chemo and her hair is starting to grow back. My son is still struggling to find a job that will pay his rent and buy his food.Hopefully something will turn up. My daughter has gotten engaged and I don't know how I feel about that. I had melanoma, but it was caught early and they cut it out without any issues. I wasn't feeling good so I went to the doctor who found out I have high bp and a abnormal ekg. Additional tests have been ok though, so I think all will be good. So, keep smiling. As my new shirt says never give up. I thank God for every day. |

Is that a train the trainer thing? I didn't think Ohio offered the advanced dirt bike class yet Well... I will find out and let ya know how it goes... Mikef5000 set it up and everyone that is going over has been riding for sometime. From what I understand they adjust the training to the skill level of the class... we shall see. I'm a HOG member so I will send the bill in and get some HOG Bucks to spend at the dealer.... so I say this weekend is FREE! |
